I don't think they can give that away since there's competition. A better question would be what feature would they like to see In basketball games that can't be done anytime soon with current limitation.

Free throws are tuned better this year, but the mechanic is pretty much the same.

I personally think the whole way freethrows are in Live 09 make no basketball sense to be honest. I never really liked the whole bar moving gimic in Live. I never thought it had any thing to do with "real" Bball.....Personally think 2k has this part down and with real freethrow percentages it makes it more realistic. I know you guys cant just outright steal their ideas....but I was hoping you changed it from last year even though you say its tuned up....IMO its still not really real tuned up or not. I think you guys should go back to the way it was in Live 08 and fine tune that mechanic. At least we had to move the Right stick in a "motion" that resembles a real freethrow....and that takes more user skill than what is currently Live's freethrow mechanics. Anybody else agree?

I think that free throws have never been done well in any game. It's too easy in 2K and Live it was ridiculously easy. Hopefully they have done a good job on it this year.

All i want of the free throw system is for it to be realistic. It should be harder to shoot a free throw with a player that has a bad free throw percentage and easier to shoot one with a player that has a good percentage.

Belbua whould you say with the freethrows for ex. Shaq even if you execute you freethrow perfectly he could still miss because he doesnt shoot freethrows well. Basically because his freethrow rating isnt that high

Beluba, was there an upgrade in the post game this year??, to play sim you need good post game. Is there differentiation between different post players like Yao Ming and Dwight Howard.

If you execute the free throw perfectly, you will make it. It will just be very difficult to hit the perfect window with Shaq this year.

I approve of your decision To keep this mechanic.

In 2K there was no real indicator on how to shoot a perfect free throw just a pop
up afterwards. In Live you have a coordination free throw mechanic whereby blind
luck plays no role

What happened to the "2 new pics" thread? Anyway, concerning that deleted thread, Stephensonmc, I'm just glad that devs actually come here and respond so I'm truly grateful. I'm not knocking anything but I'm not one that's overly critical on some of these games like the others here. I'm too old (36!) and very respectful to insult others' hard work. Again, the player models DO look a little cartoony and probably look better in motion. I think that a video would prove me wrong...

Some of the pictures were old, and were not supposed to be put up on the site. They don't want old pictures floating around because it's not gonna do them any good marketing wise, might hurt them.

Steph, are you guys going to be able to incorporate arena specific TEAM bench locations this year? Most team's home benches are located on the left side if you are watching games on TV.

But Some team's home bench are located on the right (broadcast view).

Live06 had this right but, for some reason you guys changed it and had all home benches located on the left side of the screen for the past few years.

Here are a few that should be on the right side of the screen:

-the Heat
-the Pistons
-the Kings
-the Bulls
-the Twolves
-the Bucks
-the Hawks
-the Magic

Bringing back the correct locations for the team benches would add a even more authenic feel to the arenas IMO.
