It's an iterative process man. Sometimes there are just more important things to worry about, things that can make or break a game. Things like that eventually make it to the game, but you're acting like it's some huge thing when in reality it's not. Most people skip the little cut scenes anyway. They beefed up the presentation a lot, from what I'm seeing. Just because one little thing didn't make it in, no need to come off so harshly.

Yeah, you are really right about that. Although it isn't a cutscene, it happens during the game just like 2k. What I am upset about is that i have been asking devs for this since Live 07' and have gotten the same "hopeful for next year" response and it still hasn't happened! It has been 3 years now and I think that it is a little rediculous. Oh well, guess I will wait til next year! LOL.

Don't worry about it man. There's more titles to come. It's just that they're main focus was on gameplay, and it has every right to be. Those little details would've been good, but I think it'll still be a great game.

A minor thing we added is a playoffs mode, so you can set up the playoffs with friends and each have a team.

This is a very nice add. Not minor at all in my book.

Probably an old one, but what's the deal with 1 button for shots/lay ups/dunks? Is the difference between lay up and dunk completely based on the context or is the system similar to 2K where the shot button combined with the sprint button results in a dunk?

Those are licensing issues man...neither game has that

Hmmm that sucks....I have noticed in the last couple years that the MSG logo has been missing I forget which NBA game had it in there last, prolly one of the older 2k's. But if having the logo is a licensing issue what about the use of the MSG organ? Will you guys have the MSG organ sounds in Live 10? I hope so cus playing in MSG w/o it wont feel like im playing in MSG. Can you guys let me know this

It's funny how live 08 had it. At least the the msg logo. I guess they decided it wasn't work paying for the logos.

This is a left field question but I have to know ....

Can you please mo-cap Michael Jordan's dunks and signature shots and put it in create a player as "generic roster player" ?

Please, it's tiring buying the game, trying to simulate playing as the best player ever but the generic options don't come close to having Jordan's moves.

I'm sure this can't take too much effort to do but it will separate you guys alot at least. Jordan won't get into games for another decade.

mo-cap is done the game is almost done, so they probably aren't going to do that.

We got the LA organ... don't have any Knicks game recordings to use. But the LA one sounds good.

Its not a $ thing, the NBA doesn't have the right to let us use some arena names. It was a late removal from Live a few years ago.

I'll admit, not too much. We had grand ideas at the start of the year that we weren't able to tackle. We have added about a million shoes, changed some accessories, and added more animation templates though.
