Oh well. I really don't see that it was imminent to fix the FT's. It is really pointless to go to the line now. Plus you guys could use another patch to fix the fired coaches Eddie Jordan on the Wizards and PJ Carlisimo of the Thunder, with he new coaches. If you can't do this, this should be something flexible for 2010.

this just eliminates everything patch one did it made defense better which stops all the easy baskets but adds more contact which means more freethrows which still is an automatic two points i just cant understand why this is not looked at as a big problem when i am sure the whole online community is complaining even the less skilled who don"t post on forums

It is puzzling. I honestly believe they're trying to get as good a product made as they can, but it still begs the question: Do they even TEST these games????

I mean, it would take 2 minutes of play before someone said, "Okay, free throws are a little too easy, let's scale it back a bit."

How hard is that? That's an honest question.

but before talking bout fixing the easiness of freethrow, i want to know how to make my self able to foul cpu more, like i tried to block their shot everytime to test this, and i successfully foul them when they drive TWICE IN THE WHOLE GAME, 6 mins per quarter btw, so how do i address this?

Devs, I've recently been playing online against guys where it shows that there is only one user playing at the matchup screen but when I get into the game there is 2 people playing. Shouldn't it show on the screen that there is 2 users playing? It is virtually impossible to win a game against 2 people playing against one. This needs to be address. Need to add a back out feature or just not let another user join once the game has started.


Also for some reason some games my double team button works and some games it doesn't. I just played 2 games online and my double team button didnt work at all. Any reason behind this?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Wow...thats terrible news..It really detracts from the head 2 head experience not having to worry about FT's down the stretch. Its a H2H GAMEKILLER...This will likely limit my playing of the game because there is no point to fouls now...its an automatic 2 pts. everytime...GAMEKILLER

Yeah this game seems to have a mind of it's own...LITERALLY. Before the patch some games would lag, sometimes the wouldn't. When I was at the line and someone was hitting on the triggers to distract me sometimes my controller would just vibrate, and other times not only would my controller vibrate but them hitting the trigger buttons would also mess with my meter as well kind of like a tug a war thing. Some times my double team button works, sometimes it doesn't. And I can also say that my response time as far as jumping to block shots and getting rebounds hasn't changed much. While I see others just immediately going back up for rebounds and block shots, I still have alittle delay in my jump response. I kinda liked it the old way. Jumping should be more timed based and not just quickly pressing the button multiple times.

Sometimes I wish it was possible for them to make two different games, one for the sim players, and one for the arcade players. Kind of like music cd's, you have an explicit version and the clean version.

Hey Developers,

First, thanks for a pretty cool game. Also thanks for taking the time to reply to so many questions.

Alot of the recent post talk about the f-t issue, adding jersey, the double team feature (also how about how the other team gets an automatic lay up after made free thows).

With all that said, is the bottom line that the game "is what it is" with no new patch coming?

If that's it thanks for a fun game and we'll just look for an even better game next year.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I can say that as of right now, it's VERY unlikely that another patch will be put into place. I think we've hit our stride with this year's version and you guys should look forward to what we have in store for you with NBA LIVE 365 throughout the season.

Your feedback though has been noted and we do plan to implement alot of what you guys have said (thanks for that by the way).

Have you tried the edits 23? (cool name btw, I never realized that a number for a name would look/sound cool)

I haven't been able to play Live for awhile since I'm currently not staying at home, but I read the thread and it sounded interesting and radical at the same time. But just the fact that it came from Tomba makes me wanna seriously try it.

I only changed Iverson's ratings and it did seem to smooth out some animations to me although I didnt play long because

I also edited his and Rip's dribble ratings to see what would happen if you lowered a players dribble move... if they would do the same exact crossovers and whatnot.

Changing Rip's dribble rating to 40 under his teamwork option, when I tried to do all the moves, it was different, but he had to use his entire body to get the ball side to side... its kinda funny looking but if EA doesn't do it, I think i will when I start my dynasty.
