Well, it would never be a design choice NOT to include proper help D and rotation, but yeah, those aren't the easiest things to implement. Thankfully, we have some very talented AI engineers who really understand defensive concepts. There are a few tweaks we need to make, like making sure weakside defenders don't sag too much on great 3PT shooters... but I've always appreciated this aspect of Live, even before I got here.

Yeah, it's one reason I've bought all the LIVE's on next gen. Even though they were very poor (before this season), it was kind of cool to see the collapse D done so well and the resulting spacing. Good to see that you guys are working on improving it even further.

Interesting that it's difficult to implement.

Collapse D...draw and kick...ISOs...pick and roll...LIVE does all these things well. If we are being realistic, these things are NBA basketball nowadays.

What in the world kind of bug is in this game??????? Every game I'm playing there leaving a guy wide open. 2 guys guarding the same guy???? What is up with this? I just don't understand, why this problem is occurring now. Anybody else experiencing this?

It is happening to you because you are playing people out of their natural positions. If you sub by selecting the person on the floor first it will indicate by a green bar who can be substituted into that position.

This will eliminate your problem.

In NBA Live 10, will the signature shoots affect the point or release that is best to make the shot, for example Shawn Marion's shot is quick so will a quick release work best for him. Because in Live 09, every shot release feels the same.

Know one is out of there position. Its always the PG and SG guarding the same man leaving the opposing teams SG uncovered, but Ill look into it.

Beluba, just have a question. What side does "fastbreak anticipation" correspond to? Defense or offense? Meaning , if a guy has say a 90 rating for this, does that mean he'll get back on defense quick anticipating the fastbreak? Or that he'll just run the fastbreak on offense and fill the lanes?

I would suggest that you make sure that your double team settings are not on auto as well if you are still experiencing the problem.

Do u find the disk capacity for the 360 a blessing or hinderance in implementing what you want in NBA Live?

Capacity is an issue with software in general. It's not even an issue, it's just a reality. We understand that every console generation has a certain amount of space.

Beluba, are you looking to expand the way players utilize off the ball screens in the future?

Right now, the off the ball screens only consist of a simple down screen away from the ball.

Just curious if we will see guys 'running' defenders through off the ball screens more often in future versions, ala Rip Hamilton.

Especially, for guys who have a high 'utilize off the ball screens' for their DNA.

Steph, the team's bench locations in the arenas have not been located correctly for some teams, since Live 07.

I remember reading that you guys did not get a chance to fix them before 09 went final.

Could you guys have the arena art guys look into this? It would help give each arena that authenic feel 'visually' like in Live07.

Here is a short list of team benches that should be located on the 'right side' of the screen in the default broadcast camera.

I promise I don't think I've ever played a more defective game in my life. Dev's have you been looking into the 2 man guarding the same guy on defense glitch? Why is this happening? This was not happening after the 2nd patch, what is the deal????

What in the world is going on? I've tried switching the matchups from auto double to no, back to auto. Changing defensive player assignments, subbing in different players. Nothing works. It's bad enough that the constant open fastbreaks are frustrating but now this? I can't be the only one playing online to have this happening to me????

What have you guys come up with regarding this problem?

Any idea why the 2 guys guarding the same guy is occuring? I cant be the only one this is happening to online because Ive seen it happen to my opponent as well.

The blu ray disk has more capacity space then the 1 used on the 360. Is there a possibility in the future that you will add more content to the ps3 version then the 360?

The producer who handles online isn't available at the moment, which is why nobody is responding to this. The issue has been communicated to QA so we will keep an eye out for it when we test online play for '10.
