I know you guys can't do the PlayStation Skills Challenge because of the name.

But can you do the game mode without the name and call it the EA Skills Challenge or something like that.

All-Star weekend is great in Live and it would be nice to have this additional mode in dynasty mode.

I have noticed in several games that the shot clock does not reset to 14 seconds like it should when fouls are commited under 14 seconds on the 24 second clock.

Could you guys please look into this issue for Live10?

Yo is it just me or is the free throw difficulty online just toooooo easy. No one ever misses a free throw online, EVER. So if you down late and u need to foul its like just giving them 2 points. THE FREE THROWS ONLINE ARE TOOOO EASY. I never miss, u never miss, he never miss, she never miss, my two year old cousin never miss, his crusty *** granny never miss. Online that is.

This has been talked about a thousand times. When the game came out somebody with a weak internet connection complained about some lag(that wasn't even real). So the developers tried to fix it for on line play by making it easier. Now they can't undo it.
The developers stepped up and admited they screwed it up, so I'm sure it will be better next year.

On a side note, I think the old school T meter was a little better. At least you had to time it out twice.

7) Sometimes when the cpu scores a basket and my team's player grabs the ball to inbound it.....he is whistled for stepping out-of-bounds (which is clearly a bug). I notice this about once a game. Are you guys aware of this?

8) Many times, players (me or cpu) will shoot the ball and the opposition will jump up and grab the ball right before it reaches the rim (clear goaltending violation) or if it touches the rim....they grab it OFF the rim (another goaltending violation).

This happens a few times per game, every game, and this really needs to be fixed because it's not real-life NBA basketball. Are you guys aware of this and canm you please PATCH it up?

It's getting funny how folks are asking questions that have been answered a hundred times. The patch has already happened and there will be no more patches. Thee will be an improved game next year. Feel free to scan the thread if you would like to read the same answer about 20 to 30 times.

hey i was in Dynasty mode with the bulls and i went to give Rose
an arm sleeve but i noticed he had some kind of block coming out of the back of his head i went to see if it was a head band but it wasnt so i gave him a HB and then took it off and the block was still there

any idea what happened?

The meter in the Academy should help. Should be at the peak of the jump.

Will there be a shot stick in Live 2010? Thats the only thing that is holding me back

Not trying to be a jerk but I hope not live doesn't have to copy 2k that much, most people do like the dribbling mechanics on the analog stick.

Can anybody confirm the dunk/layup button isn't gonna make it into 2010 please i really think its holding the gameplay back and making online terrible cause that's all people do is drive and press the dunk buttton when they get close to the hoop.

I kinda like the two buttons. I think the improvement would be for the dunk button only work from a realalistic distance based on a player ability. It is silly that the "lay up/dunk" button is also a way to shoot 3's with a perfect release. I suprised we haven't talked about this before.

well its called Live 07, that one split the dunk and layup buttons

and while it kinda worked....you had issues with people trying to dunk with players that could dunk but usually dont.

the best way is to have the game decide whether its a dunk or layup. if you want a live with 1 button for all of it, play 2003, and notice how you get jumpshots under the hoop and such.

imo, just leave it how it is, its a good setup, just because people spam it online doesnt mean they should change it for the majority of people who play it offline.
