Yesterday, the patch 1.02 was lost.
The gameplay was like before the Patch.
A lot of Contact baskets, easy BIG men fast break, too high % field goal.....

Do you experience the same?

I've only played a couple of games with the patch thus far and the cpu shooting % have varied. In one game, the Atl Hawks shot 44% for the entire game while in another game....the Houston Rockets shot 68%. And this was with the shooting sliders turned way down.

Honestly no matter how many patches EA relreases.....this game, while fun at times, is definitely broken and needs to be completely re-worked for next year. The right people (Beluba, Marcus, etc) are in place to FINALLY get this franchise heading in the right direction and I really think that Live 2010 will have answered our main gripes/issues with this year's Live.

Considering the alternatives (2K9 and The Inside)...NBA Live 09 is still the best, the "funnest" and the most realistic pro basketball game this year. Unlike 2K who repackages the same garbage every year (call it bashing, but whatever....it's the TRUTH).....Live 09 feels much different and improved than 08. That's a good indicator for what's to come next year.

Hey does anyone know if theres been any kind of list etc that tells you what is in the patch ??

ive looked around and cant find anything that tells you so if anyone can post some things that are in it

Seriously though, nothing has been specifically stated about what the patch addresses.

Question regarding the patch. Let's just say the patch was released prematurely. to be pulled back. If some got it and others didn't, how would the game play out between the person that was able to get the patch and the one that wasn't???

If I got it will be percentages in the paint decrease due to the patch while the other person who didn't receive it still be able to hit shot consistently in the paint???

just got the update and played a few games tonight and gotta say the defensive response is finally normal, no more animation lock ups, when I want to give a huge rejection I can. this was the biggest thing i found that changed, i also had a bit more of a harder time nailing down foul shots, but that could have just been me sucking.. but im usually not bad at all...

If you're enjoying NBA 2K8.5, then more power to you. I sold it a couple of days after I bought it and I can honestly say that I've yet to look back and regret that decision.

That's a pretty close minded selfish way of thinking. Have you ever heard of being open minded and respecting other people's opinions? You might actually learn something but unfortunately people like you are too much of a wuss to try something like that and are a dime a dozen. Just my opinion.
