the patch just made this game great, the ticker is out of the way, fast breaks seem to fixed, thanks for the patch, I like this game that much better now.

One thing to note: 365 should be updating the number of plays each team runs for their players. So teams should be running plays for the right people. If not, we can look into it.

That is awesome.

Huge step forward as playsets have always stayed fixed no matter what the rosters looked like as a season went on.

You guys are the first to do something like that and it's a really positive step IMO.

Note: See, I do actually say positive things as well about this game

In-game replays are still choppy and unwatchable on the PS3. Half-time highlights still don't work. I'm sorry but WTF? How do you screw this up again?

Like now after the trades, the Knicks really don't have a 'go-to guy'.

He's saying that before the patch there wasn't as many fouls but when a player did get fouled it was not a sure 2 points especially with guys like Shaq but now it's more fouls and an automatic 2 points at the line.

In game replays are very good now like Halftime(and final) Highlights.

What's up people,

Downloaded the patch last night, played a 12 min quarter game with the jazz coming to houston. I was Houston. Utah jumped out to a big lead in the first, I came back in the second, and the second half was back and forth but I was able to pull out the victory 117-112.

Overall the game felt tighter, and it was fun. There were however, some funny things that occurred in the game. Keep in mind that I was playing Allstar with default sliders. The outlet pass and dunk with the center can still be exploited but not quite as often. even though I was the benificiary, it was funny and not sim at all to see Yao leading the break. Also, there were a couple of points in the game when all 5 of the jazz players were bunched up at center court, allowing me to dunk uncontested. This happened 2 or 3 times the whole game.

The rest of my observations are below;


Pace of the game seemed too fast.

FG% still a touch too high, especially the circus layups, as well as the CPU hits every open shot.

I liked the fact that less contested shots fell.

Analog passing seems tighter, more passes go where you expected

I like the new block response. Now you have create space for your jumper, or get it swatted.

CPU players still make poor decisions defensively.

There were times in the game where the CPU scoring seemed scripted. ie. The defense I played on the person that took the shot would have been good enough at any other point in the game, but the CPU had to have a score that particular trip up the floor.

Fastbreak seems much improved, as well as the overall transition game. However, i'm not sure how the game records fastbreak points, but I know I had at least 20, and the Jazz had at least 10-12 but the stats showed me having only 2 and he jazz with none.

Overall, it is a much improved basketball experience. Considering that sliders that made the game so much better pre-patch, I may try to come up with a set that will make this game tremendous. Right now There doesn't seem to be much that needs to get tweaked. At this point I am thinking only shooting, low post D strength, in air collision fouls and help D strength-- oh, i may also lower game speed 3 or 4 clicks to slow the pace down a bit.

Crazy thing is I downloaded a patch the day before the NXE dropped for the 360. I noticed a considerable number of missed contact contested shots but that's about it. Still a delay on shot blocks for me and the free throws are still the same. I think theres been a boo boo somewhere.

Mess with the shooting sliders. You'll get some good percentages people.

I even went through a game shooting under 40%. The game before that I kept the CPU at under 40%. Of course, the next game they shot 46%. So, I'm seeing some shifts.

I like how this game plays after the patch. Lots of little things improved. I still don't like the free throw system, but I just have to make myself suck at it by releasing slightly before or after the green.

completely agree, defense is improved and the players feel like they have more weight to them, which was my two main complaints with this game

In game replays are very good now like Halftime(and final) Highlights.

Not for me and some other people posting here. What good is the fix if it only works for some people and not others?
