Yoooooo, my dude! Thanks for that one... they're actually playing something that resembles real b-ball in this clip. Watching now, but they actually called a play and posted up... I'm impressed ha.

EDIT: I love that after Gasol gets an offensive rebound (about 1:52) he has to struggle to go back up with it and ends up losing the ball on a swipe. SO MUCH better than last year when any offensive board by a big man under the basket was pretty much an automatic dunk before the defense could even jump to contest the shot.

Bynum dunk at 2:32 looked GREAT. Rim bent like it would with a big powerful dunk from a guy that size. Huge improvement over 09.

Smoothness for the WIN!

I've mentioned it before, but the jittery and robotic player movements is what prevented me from keeping Live last year. That was it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I tried to tell myself, "I'll get used to the player movements and I won't even notice anymore."

That never happened and the game was returned. LOL.

From this video, and others shown as well, I can really see how much smoother this game really is. Such a HUGE improvement in this area. It was their biggest problem last year, IMO.

at 2:13 when fisher is bringing up the ball, watch how Gasol goes from the low post and flashes up to the high post while Artest rotates out of the top of key..

The brush off animation is something that ive been asking for 2k to add in there game! Thats when you see a player without the ball make contact with an opposing player...no mario running type when running into another player....that is a nice touch!

I'm just sitting here grinning watching this video... man, such an improvement from last year. I might have to take the day off when the damn demo drops.

EDIT: Gasol sequence starting at 3:20 = Love how he looked around for a pass then settled into his move and nailed the fadeaway... gorgeous.

I'm not paying attention to the way the guys played, since it was terrible. But the game looks miles smoother than last year.

There are some nice things going on there. There were a few irregularities, but I'll wait for the final build before getting too into specifics.

As an aside, it'd be nice if we could move our pivot foot after a pump fake, and the direction you moved your pivot, along with sig style and DNA determined what kind of fade or off-balance leaner you took.

In case it got missed, why do you guys recommend playing on All Star, rather than the hardest difficulty? Do you feel that All Star is more true to the sport? Does the highest level contain impossible AI, for extra challenge?
