I totally respect and understand that. You know as fans we get carried away not knowing how much it actually takes to make the game and rebuild. Also with everything looking so great, we just expect every aspect to be touched. Either way Live 10 looks great and a huge departure from 09.

      -Shoot

Sometimes he wipes his hands before the ref gives him the ball, but regardless, Live didn't have it right. 2K9 had it perfect.
Yup, that's how he does it (sometimes he takes three dribbles), and I know cos I actually mimic it sometimes when I practice my free throws, lol (yup, huge Kobe fan here).

It's not something that stands out like Kidd's, or Arenas', or Hamilton's routine, and I would think only Lakers and Kobe fans would notice it. That's why I was so surprised and stoked when I first took that free throw shot with Kobe in 2k9 and saw him do it (I knew beforehand that they had the shot and release, but didn't expect the ball spin and wiping of hands).

But yeah, it's not a gamekiller by any stretch, but just like Sage said it's something that would really be a nice addition to the game.

Thanks for chiming in stephenson, totally understand. Can't wait to play the game man. I'll certainly have my hands full with the demo.

C'mon man. He has a point, there's no need to blindly ask the same things in every thread.

How do you shoot free throws in live? Does your release point matter, or do they still have the cross where you have to center the basketballs in the middle (sorry I haven't played Live since 99).

It is a meter. You hold the shoot button and release in the green area.
