Demo: Superstar or All Star?

I honestly can't tell the difference between the two levels on the demo. The only thing I see is that you'll get stripped in the paint more on Superstar, but a good offense doesn't have much dribbling in the paint anyway. When I'm on defense, I don't see any difference.

I think I've seen a slight difference. On superstar they will get more offensive rebounds, make more fadeaway 3's and are harder to guard in the post.

I play on superstar but like you said, I'm not entirely sure it's that much of a 'tougher' opponent.

I'm no amazing videogame basketball player but on superstar in Live 09, it was very tough (albeit a bit cheezy) but in Live 10, I'm finding it not as tough.

I guess that's why I enjoy it. It's a slight upgrade on All Star without cheesing to win.

EDIT: Only played a handful of games so take that for what it's worth.

I have been playing on superstar all day today. It just seems to be less room for error. They seem to make more runs and hit more shots.

In my opinion, in superstar, they go hard, just like mike wang said, "they make fewer mistakes", but as well they get more offensive rebounds, i think their shot percentage goes up, and derrick fisher acts like a man possessed. Either way, superstar is all i play now. They whoop me very often.

I noticed players hustle more on Superstar. Stuff that would annoy me on All-Star (dwight howard not running after rebounds) doesn't happen on Superstar.

They do seem to be more active on Superstar. It's a strange difference. "Harder" isn't how I'd describe the difference in levels.

Superstar with the speed down 3 clicks has been my sweet spot.

I think for the retail version, I'll go with All-Star.

Superstar wasn't "too hard" or anything. And I do think Superstar has better animiations for some odd reason.

But I just like the pace and feel of All-Star. It feels more like a free flowing game to me. Whereas Superstar feels a little tight to me.

Saw some weird stuff on Superstar:
-Kobe winding down the shot clock and jacking up a 35 footer.
-Too many offensive boards by the CPU

And some other minor things.

On All-Star, I feel I can do what I want to do and have a fighting chance. Hard to explain.

I play on allstar because that's what the ranked games are going to be on most likely.

This was exactly how I felt. Hard to say, at this point i'm staying on Superstar since it knocks out some of my rebounding qualms and the devs said they almost exclusively play on Superstar at this point. I might move down just to get better with freestyle.

All-Star has played just fine for me. I never dominate and the CPU never dominates. Everything is just competitive.

That's exactly how I feel. I see alot more back & forth on All-Star.

IMO, nope. That's just me though.
