I say wait and see what the actual game plays like. Some of the things that people are asking for are drastic changes in the core gameplay. Be very cautious EA devs, the game is going in the right direction. I like the way defense is implemented and the auto post. This helps stop the cheese, yet you can still drive into the paint and make a decision of pass or shoot. I do not want 09, keep this game 2010 please!

After playing too much nba live 10 demo games, i (a big Basketball videogames player) think
Its all right, only one thing to do> "signature post up shots."
But, it is only to look better.

after playing really a lot of games iv'e seen the following things:

1.cpu makes to much collisions shots.

2.when i'm posting on the low,there are too many offensive fouls,even once i've controlled bynum on the post and saw fisher open on the 3 and when i passed to him i called for offensive foul(what the hell??)

3.to many times i'm getting blocked with howard and lewis armpitts and elbow which looks very ridiculous and very annoying

4.to many times when i'm passing to someone on the post they don't even try catching the ball or do anything and the ball go out of bounds,the commenrty doesn't say a thing maybe it's me,but it look really weird

1.cpu makes to much collisions shots. > If you are controlling the man who is defending the ballhander player you must to push L1+Up in RS+LS(at ballhander direction).It is very usefull, believe me.
2....> if you have the ball at post and try to pass with LS direction you can to try a posr roll move.

4. .... > Cause your post player has been very good defended and you are a little far.

Things I want to see which you cant do with sliders:

- At least some decent steal animations. I just looks soo off if you want to intercept a pass.

- At least ONE "getting dunked on" animation

- Passing out of contact shot animations (low % of accuracy)

- Let us configure the controller for ourselves. I will play Live and 2K I guess, so it would be awful to get used to the other control sheme everytime

Why did Live 10 change Kobe's jumper from 09? This years jumper looks a little robotic.

Probably already mentioned but do something about the AI steals every time I post up or try to drive the lane for contact. Tone it down at least. Even with the slider at 0 it's too much.

I really wish they would patch the color ways & acc colors of the players. I like to do a fantasy draft and it throws off the visuals when all the players are wearing different color shoes.

The other game did a great job with this. They added different shoes but, they gave you the default team colors. That way when players get traded in dynasty mode they wear the right colors.

I asked steph about this last year but, I guess it didn't make it into the game.

Here's what I'm talking about. Sorry to bring the other game into this thread but, I didn't want anyone to be confused about what I was talking about.

Someone mentioned this in another thread... But it's something I feel should be pointed out here. I'm not sure how well this game runs on the 360, but on the PS3 there are some serious hiccups that occur. Last year there were frame rate issues during instant replays, but this year it's happening during actual gameplay. Which, needless to say, has me a little worried as a PS3 owner. Please, if this hasn't been fixed already, please try to do something about it with the forthcoming patch.

How can there be a "patch request" thread when the (bleeping) game is not even out yet?

There is no way to tell what issues have been addressed from the demo to the final build of the game.

Talk about premature.....though I'm not surprised.

Exactly. You shouldn't be. This is EA we're talking about, afterall. Know your videogame history!

1. Free throw routines for most of the player.
2. Mix up the post scoring celebrations, even some player specific.
3. Roll the ball in bounds for end of the game situations, save clock time (if its in the game, its in the game right?)
4. Real time intro. Cut the cut scene B.S. let's get it like REAL NBA broadcasts.
5. Block sounds. The sound now is kinda weak.

And

6. More ref interaction. Inbounds, going to get the ball, etc. 2k does a good job of this.

i dont remember where but either marcus or mike told us... oh yeah its in the ps3 demo impression thread. not sure what page.
