Sliders allow the gamer to make the game more of their own as well as fix any glaring issues with the game play. No game is perfect. I'm not sure how being forced to play the game however it is made is fun?

I played a game on All-Star today and Orlando shot 16/20 for 80% -- mostly being contested shots in the paint and from around 10-15ft. That, in my opinion, would require some sort of valid slider change.

The following sliders need to be put back in the game IMO because there is no DNA rating for any of them or a Penalty slider

NBA Rules Slider
1). Over the back-There's no animation for it but how about adding it for some realism based on NBA rules.

2). Defensive 3 second-Again it's an NBA RULE so why not have it

Game Play Slider
1). On Ball Physical Defense

2). Close Out Defense-HUMAN Slider then won't stand around just watching half the time on their own

3). Defensive Lost Post Strength-This would work great with On Ball Physical defense if setup properly with the setting.

4). Boundary Force-Protects against players stepping out of bounds should be sensitivity slider for game play because yes guys do step out bounds but if the ref's aren't going to call it or the game doesn't allow it be called then we should have slider to reduce seeing it.

5). Pass Lane defense

The following sliders need to be added because they enhance game play and based on the demo they are badly needed

1). Player Awareness slider Offense-Should control awareness for players on offense in regards to knowing how to react in situations, the ability to execute plays and reads with or with without the ball.

2). Player Awareness Slider Defense-Should effect all aspects of awareness in Helpside Defense, Zone Defense, Closeout defense and Pick N Roll Defense. I know for sure the Human CPU players are as brain dead as I've seen in NBA Live. They don't react or do much of anything on their own unless you take control. If not controlling D.Howard he should still be smart enough to react on his own to make defensive plays. He was on the All NBA defensive team last i checked.


Those are only 9 Total Sliders that I think the game lacks. 5 Of which were already in the game BEFORE so they did exist and 4 of which should be added 2 that striclty APPLIES to NBA ENFORCED RULES and 2 that applies to those who wish to make players SMARTER on the FLOOR.

And NO DNA doesn't make Kobe or LeBron play smarter......yes they take shots based on a percentage their DNA tells them to and yes they run to a spot on the floor based on a play that might get called. None of that ties into their ACTUAL AWARENESS like reading the defense, where to pass the ball if they are being doubled how to react if the play breaks down.

AND AGAIN I'M PRETTY SURE THEY ASKED LAST YEAR WHAT SLIDERS SHOULD THEY CONSIDER ADDING TO GAMEPLAY NOT REMOVING.

So, for those who want to say they are PHASING OUT SLIDERS because of DNA or Synergy then why would they ASK US for input regarding the situation. Did they just all of sudden in the last 6 months decide every thing is now going to be controlled by DNA and changed their mind and if so why bother to leave any sliders in the game at all if that's the case.
