I can, but I wont answer a bunch maybe 2-3 and only about live 09 cause I cant remember all the way back to 07.

I don't know if this was confirmed about live 10. But in live 09 this feature wasn't here. This year I did see when playing players do get shaken up. Although, I've never seen anyone have to sit on the bench so I'm guessing it's just a quick hey Lebron is shaken up lets see if he can continue and they get right back to position without them being shaken up really effecting them or the way they play.

Alright cool, hopefully you can help me out:

1. I simulate a lot and one thing that annoyed me about the competition's franchise mode is that I would see some ridiculous trades/signings. Often having 3-4 start-worthy players at a position for several teams. So does something similar happen in Live?

2. When it comes to free agents in 2K, I would see guys like Monta Ellis (rated 87) sitting in free agency through out the years with no one picking him up. So how is the AI for the teams?

3. Are there any major flaws in the dynasty mode that one might consider a severe hinderance/mode killer?

yeah i never got live 09 and the last live i played was 07. i loved the dynasty there. how much did it change since 09?

1. It was pretty random in live 09, I cant really get deep with this one because I've never paid attention to things like this maybe you could explain it a little more so I can try again.

2. No in live 09 just about everyone from 99-75 get picked up super quick if they're there you better take them asap because if you sim up about a week later they'll be signed.


3. You cant adjust minutes in live 09. I'm not sure about 10 but, it was a real problem for me since players always complain about not getting minutes. They give no option to adjust minutes so it seemed pointless. Guys like D-Howard/Carmelo seemed to get about 30 mins a game and the automated rotation system they put makes it worser if you try to adjust minutes so if you try building a team with Lebron, Kevin Garnett, And Tony Parker running the point they'll all have really low stats compared to what you'd expect because of the low minutes. Each one of them would average about 30 mins a game sometimes 32 but, I've never seen anything higher.

What I meant with the first one is that a team would end up trading/signing a player at a position in which they were set. The Jazz, for example, would make a trade for Jose Calderon and send Paul Millsap to the Raptors.

Pared, over at the 2K forums, posted some pictures of the what happened when he simmed Association and Calderon-Stuckey-Ford were all at the PG for the Pistons. Basically just god awful trades/signings.

The minutes situation is worrisome, can anyone who has played Live 10 answer that? Da_Czar? Developers maybe?

i loved the emails you got from your assistant, assistant coach, scout, and owner.

practices were automatically set for every week.

it was pretty difficult to make trades and i liked that lol.

i dont know, it just seemed pretty authentic lol.

Oh i see. Nope, I've never seen anything like that. This game switches it up a lot but I've never seen anything like Rockets Trade Tracy Mcgrady for another great center never seen that.

Everything is still on here except you don't get emails. More like little pop up messages but, I've only got them from the owner only and my defensive coach when it's time for practice. But it isn't a message more like a reminder. That's as far as the staff letting you know anything goes.

Also, Players like of Kobe or Lebron ratings are super hard to get sometimes it seems impossible to get them threw trade unless you have someone like CP3 or Wade.

This is all we've got so far. Not sure if they have anything new from 09 he says nothing but improved stuff and minute adjustments but I hope he means literally 48 Minute adjust and not those weird sliders they had last year that kept giving my high rated player low minutes even when I maxed out the bar.
