Re: Franchise Question
Yeah, I drafted a SG once, and after like 3 seasons, he was rated at 97. You can also find steals in the draft. Just last night I got a PG with the 56 pick rated at 72.Comment

Re: Franchise Question
is that frequent though? Are most prospects rated highly or is it generally difficult to develop a prospect?Comment

Re: Franchise Question
To my knowledge nobody from EA Sports confirmed no in-game injuries. I was just posting to find out if i could get a definite answer from them.Comment

Re: Franchise Question
EA still has/has not confirmed the existance/non existance of in-game injuries in franchise mode. I've asked this question in the "Ask Developers Thread" about a month or so ago and the EA person(Stephon...) never answered the question.Someone break this down for me, I may get both games, or just one, I was so sure for live and then I read somethings I didn't like.
This no injury, what is it? Are they saying that you can't get injured in your franchise?
Also has anyone confirmed how the franchise mode is, it it like NHL10 or are there viewable box scores from around the leauge and what not?
I am hoping they can set the record straight since others are interested in that question also. Plus, in my feeling it is possible it could still be in there since in the demo and a video capture awhile back ago they had a player getting poked in the eye and he was running upcourt holding a hand to his eye along with other type of injury mentions by Marv Albert.
Makes the possibility of in-game injuries in franchise mode possible if the announcer(Marv) mentions it.
Keeping my fingers crossed for someone at EA Sports to let us all know....Comment

Re: Franchise Question
I thought they said only minor injuries will happen in-game and nothing major. I don't know but I think I read it somewhere on these forums.Comment

Re: Franchise Question
Only having 82 games hurts my interest as I don't want to sim games.
I could stomach no changes in franchise mode if lesser games were available. Actually, I'd be happy for the franchise mode to stay the same if the basic features were really fine tuned (trade AI, rotations, team direction, etc).
Speaking of team direction, I think it was Live 08 but didn't it have team direction built in? How the CPU teams could be one of three classes (rebuilding, challenging, etc)?
Wonder if that is still in.Comment

Re: Franchise Question
It was in live 09 too...and when you were signing a player you had these options given to you that you could use to entice the player into joining your team.Only having 82 games hurts my interest as I don't want to sim games.
