Live devs I want a crowd lookin' like this for Live 11....

I have to admit that the crowd atmosphere (sound) in Live 10 is amazing but the crowd models are terrible.

Re: Official Nba Live 11 Wish List

Considering I don't want to read all 17 pages I will post the things I would love for Live 11 despite most probably being said a million times.

      1. Gameplay gameplay gameplay! This is the most crucial aspect that Live needs to step up. They made a huge jump with Live10 but there are still things that need improving. Mostly a more realistic shooting display. Open jumpers should be sunk the majority of the time and tough layups with the defense draped over the player or shots with a hand in the face need to have a lower success rate. The defense needs a huge improvement, it's just to tough to stop the offense then it is to blow past the defense. There needs to be a healthy medium.

      2. My Player mode. EA Sports (from what I know) were the leaders to bring out a 'My Player' or 'Superstar' mode in games such as FIFA and Madden. I bought both 2K10 and Live10 this year (cheap deal for me ) and the only reason I am playing more 2K is because of my player mode. EA know how to make this a great game mode and I am sure could trump 2K if they did it properly. It would be cool if you could do things such as get invited to a USA camp and play in the Olympics in the off season or something like that.

      3. Commentary. This is where I think 2K got the best of Live this year. Live is seeming to get a bit more dry each year for a lack of conversation.

I know there is more but if these 3 points are addressed properly it will be one hell of a game that I would be willing to fork out for and some. These plus a game that doesn't have any major glitches and a steady online play and I would be a very happy man.

Anyone know if this actually gets seen by the Live dev team?

Some kind of rotation control. The fact that you can't guide auto subs at all is a problem.

I don't want to see these again in Live 11... Ain't a big deal for me but...

          -also in fastbreak & etc...

-players in Live 10 can catch the ball without looking at it while being thrown at them? C'mon! That's so fake!

-I hope that this issue can be corrected & avoided in Live 11.

-some suggestions about the off ball control (offense) & passing controls:<o></o>

*Please change the controls in the off ball control in the upcoming Live 11 because sometimes it doesn’t work and ends up as a direct pass to your teammate.

*from holding R2 change it to L3 (ps3). By pressing L3 the triangle, square, circle, & x icon will appear for 3 seconds and pressing any of the four icons will now trigger the offball control. I think this is easier to do compared to holding the R2.<o></o>

*tapping the pass button will do a fake/hesitation pass
          <o></o>
*while holding and not releasing the pass button, your player will not throw the ball to his teammate.
          <o></o>
*also while holding the pass button (same as direct passing), the teammate/s who is/are not paying attention or looking at you will now pay attention & look at you & then he/they will position himself/themselves properly so that they can successfully catch the ball from you. It’s like players communicating to each other. Lack of communication when passing the ball in the NBA results to a turnover.
          <o></o>
          <o></o>
Yao can jump as high as Scola? R u kidding me???

          <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rAKWkaVWJMw&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object>

Online Suggestions for random ranked online

-Pls. make the Superstar difficulty as the default difficulty. In All-Star it's very easy to shoot, dunk, & AI teammates are not as smart as the AI teammates in Superstar. Doesn't matter to upgrade from All-Star to Superstar difficulty because you're no longer playing with an AI in online but instead your playing with humans with different skills.

-Before the start of the game allow us to adjust some settings first. Strategy menu, playbook, & etc.

-Pausing the game when the game already started will no longer be allowed cause it's pretty annoying & it's like you're in a timeout situation.
          <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
          <!--[endif]-->
-Pausing the game is only allowed during after each quarter ends, halftime, & when calling a time-out (20 seconds or full TO).

-instead of 5 minutes per quarter(default) why not make it 6?

          Coaches
-why not include the coaches in the DNA?

-coaches ratings (strengths & weaknesses) can somehow affect their team's tendencies whether it's offense (tempo & execution) or defense.

          Strategy Menu
-make it user friendly & very easy to navigate because in Live 10 it sucks.

Re: Official Nba Live 11 Wish List

I wana c the new locomotion system have an effect on every facet of the game.when a player runs down another to attempt a block on a fastbreak they always stop n jump straight up,what's up with that?that's not momentum or locomotion.we need to see players jump n glide to attempt a block when ur running full speed down the court,or even when ur in the halfcourt n u have enough distance to run up n attempt a block.they need to allow players to fall out of bounds or run into the basket post underneath.or jump over the front row or into the front row, into the camera men/cheerleaders/ball boys.overall, just interact with the crowd moreso..maybe have players slap hands with a fan after a big play or motion towards the crowd, just acknowledge the crowd more.

add more animations!!!!!! we need lots n lots of animations for all the different scenarios in a game.I want to play the game for months n still run into different

circumstances that I've nvr seen,it makes the game so fresh n alot more realistic if the animations look right.I'm talkin more layups, dunks, dribbles, shots, blocks, blocks, blocks,m ore dunks, more layups...

players need to dive outa bounds during the hustle plays.they have like one where they get on the floor n it's scripted, thesame result everytime the animations play out.these needto b open ended.matter of fact,EVERY ANIMATION NEEDS TO B OPEN ENDED!!!!no more scripted sequences.the tipped rebounds r the same way.the ball needs to b an object,if a player gets even a finger on the ball,it should show that animation wise, maybe the ball gets bobbled or dropped..or maybe it's tipped n recovered n the play continues.

make us feel in the moment with big reactions from players,crowds,coAches...make the pressure moments affect gameplay n let us see it animation wise.players reacting to lost possesions in close games, bein mad about calls, mad at teammates for missing easy looks, talking to coaches about the next play to run during freethrows, maybe captains discussing strategies with younger players or maybe a hot role player gets praised by their teammates.so many improvements to b made.just the beginning, hope u guys show me some love on my ideas...check out my arena! ;-)

Please revamp the online interface. Take a page outta Madden 10's book. I love the way their online is set up from the lobby's to the team select screen to the replays after the game. It doesn't have to be the same but the online interface needs a new look, and it needs to flow like madden.

Re: Official Nba Live 11 Wish List

                    Matchup loading screen:

-Have more than one view of the stadium, a shot from the other side of the arena, an aerial shot of the stadium and the surrounding buildings, higher resolution shots too. Have it be random so it's not the same photo every time. Maybe even a 10-second real life video clip of one of the main entrances with people going into the building. That would be sick!

-Random portions of the NBA theme played during loading. Maybe the song starts 15 seconds or a minute into it. As it stands, I know how to play the guitar parts on memory alone.

                    Other more important stuff:

-Free throw shooters shouldn't constantly be brushing themselves off. Unlike most sports, there IS NO DIRT ON THE COURT! Also, for some reason when they do this, it looks like they have tiny T-Rex arms.

-Higher resolution text of player's last name as he stands for his first free throw. I think you know what I'm talking about.

-No fancy dunks in traffic. On several occasions instead of Amare throwing a powerful dunk down in a crucial sitation, he's doing some fancy windup dunk that gets stripped/blocked. That's not Amare's style.

-In an online match, "Playoffs" should not be used for interconference play. If I pick Suns and the other guy picks the Celtics, default to season mode. I'd say default to "Finals'' mode, but seeing that big ugly trophy on the court would get super old, super quick.

-Provide a full button-map of post moves, and any other moves not listed in this years instruction book. Make me think anything's possible without having to go on the internet to clarify.

-I played a "Player lock" game and the camera would occasionally pan in and out making it look even more realistic and dynamic than a real game's broadcast. Make it like this in other modes like online play. I only did the player lock thing once, and probably never again - but I would sure appreciate the tricky camera work in every mode.

-Clear path to the basket foul.

-No free throws awarded for fouls when whistle is called prior to the continuation.

-Instead of it always being cheerleaders, let me see the team mascot shooting t-shirts out of an air gun into the crowd - Gorilla style. Kudos to the cheerleaders though - they look good.

-Suns bench is on the left, not the right.

-Let me pick 5-10 second sound clips from music on my hard drive for ball walk-up music. Let this work online. Even if my online opponent can't hear the downloaded music, let me hear it.

-Fans leaving during a blow out. Online exhibition matches too. Not a season only treat. If this is too hard, just have less fans in the seats after a time out or cut scene. Doesn't have to be hard.

-No more slow motion alley oops. If I don't do it right, it's like Amare is in super slow motion, especially on the way down with ball in hand. Very weird.

-Using Nash as an example, if he gets trapped by two defenders at top of key, have the nearest player run to him to accept the pass. Then automatically have Nash run up real close to that player to pass the ball back to him. Things like this would make the game look real.

-More camera options. Or at least a greater range of zooming in and out. I'd probably stick with the same ones I use now, but would appreciate an option to use slightly different angles.

-No pausing online. If dude's not ready to play a video game he has no business turning his console on and committing to play with someone.

-Amare's jump shot doesn't look right. The video game Amare looks way too stiff and upright when shooting an 18-footer.

-Goran Dragic (Nash's backup) has brown hair not bleached blonde.

-Retro homecourts. At least 1 per team. Availble online. I want to see the Suns 1993 home court, or the 1995 one.

-Don't allow people online to accept an inbounds pass and run to the other side of the court while holding turbo button for the entire length of their possession. I think what bothers me more then my opponents lack of respect by doing this, is how ridiculous it looks. I shouldn't have to be constantly chasing fools around the court.

-More rim/ball interaction. I'd like to see a 3-pointer brick high above the rim and then land back in the basket once in a while.

-I'd like to somehow see David Stern ensure the Suns don't win a championship in playoffs mode. Maybe if I'm about to win a playoff game, have an opponent deck one of my players, then people from my bench will get up to make sure I'm OK, then a message will pop up after the game about how my star is suspended for the next game even though my franchise has never won a championship and this is the best chance they've ever had, or will ever have. I just want the video game to be as true and authentic as possible.

-When Tim Duncan gets called for a foul, the camera should pan to him looking like "What IS a FOUL?!"

                    -Technicals

-Mo Williams and anyone on the Denver Nuggets shouldn't be able to shoot 100 3-pointers online and make 50% of them.

-There should be some secret underlying code (unbeknowst to user) that ensures when someone selects the Denver Nuggets for the 10th time in a row online, he will not win.

-There should be a "Mike Wang" menu blade in the Xbox Live section under the "Lobby" blade. I press A on it, and in a few moments me and Mike Wang are in the team select screen. I want to play him.

-Television grade presentation. Hell, use the CBS presentation from your college game. NBA on CBS isn't far fetched, it's happened before and it could happen again.

-Highlights post game online should have some sort of code that picks out plays that had points result from more than one pass.

                      Online

-user is no longer allowed to use the same team at 2 consecutive times while playing versus random ranked match. Force him to use other teams...

-or a user needs to use all of the 31 teams before he can use the same team again. Tired of playing online against people that most of the time uses Magic, Cavs, Celtics, Suns, Nuggets, & Lakers.

-anti cheese code... that if the user keeps on shooting on the same spot with the same player after 6 consecutive times the shot will now always miss no matter how open or guarded he is. Cheeser's used to do this online.

-improve the AI's capability to go backcourt as fast as possible in order to stop the opponent's fastbreak offense. Cheeser's are exploiting the weakness of AI & they abused it.

-before the start of the game... Allow the user to view the opponents last game played with box score included.

Re: Official Nba Live 11 Wish List

I finally jumped over to the Live bandwagon this year, after playing 2K since 2006. I'm really enjoying Live 10, and I can't help but be optimistic looking forward to next years game after the huge leap this year's game took. Here are a few key points I'd be looking for in next years game to ensure I don't switch back to 2K:

                        1) Continue to smooth out the animations. They improved a lot this year, but there are still the herky, jerky shot animations that just look wrong.

                        2) Improve the post game. I want to be able to pull off a wide variety of post moves, at least more than the present hook shot, fade away and up-n-under.

                        3) Re-vamp the player faces. The game looks nothing short of spectacular from the broadcast camera angle, but as soon as a closeup happens, it loses some of the amazement. Also, the faces of role players in the game are poorly done (Reggie Evans and Rasho Nesterovic come to mind)...so it would be appreciated if more time was put into the lesser talented players in the game.

                        4) Substitutions are God-awful in Live 10. The "player rotations" menu doesn't seem to work at all and it's very difficult to do manual substitutions since the menu takes forever to come up, then you have to search for the player...all while trying to deal with gameplay. It's just an inconvenient thing to deal with and I would hope its improved for next year. Look at 2K's player rotation menu where you can assign certain amount of minutes to each player. That's gold.

Can't wait to see next years game, please continue to improve the franchise EA and I will continue to put money in your pockets!

Re: Official Nba Live 11 Wish List

Realism is the key for me...........

It would be nice to have real reactions to on court and off court situations...like when the ball gets blocked out of bounds it actually goes into the crowd and not some imaginary boundary line (tacky)

more animations, just because a different company makes a sports game doesn't mean that the game doesn't have required moves and animation....players should be able to change their shots in midair or pass out of shots or FAKE PASSES...we should be able to see when they call time out.

If you are going to let us see timeouts..at least let us hear what the coach is telling his team to concentrate on like more defense or push the ball ..something.....would be nice. Things we see on tv would be nice to see in the game like pulling on players shirts off of picks, techicals on players and coaches would be nice.

tutorials on how to use your more advanced moves would be helpful too........ game play is the staple of any of these basketball games and if the controls are not tight, accurate, and realistic....you guys are wasting yours and our time...fo-real..lol features would be nice like practice mode and maybe go back to the drills in the hangar...seriously for me...live has the foundation to be a great game...but somewhere along the way you guys dropped the ball big time...and it's still puzzles me that you are so far behind the competition in alot of areas.....your game is good but for some reason it just feels generic...

the players movement just does not feel organic enough...sorry just my two cents....

It would actually be a great idea but it has to keep the freestyle dribbling system as well. Only way to do that is to have a modify button to turn the freestyle to a shot stick like machanic maybe left bumper + right stick.

My wish list that I think would take this game to the next level.
1 realistic sim stats in dynasty
2 technical fouls on coaches and players with ejections
3 improve fouls called in the game
                              4 hire and fire coaches
5 3 second violations improved (offense and defense)
6 presentation something like whats going to be in NCAA 10
7 just a overall improved dynasty mode it is in need of revamping

                                I've got it...

-Just like Steve Kerr says I'm working on, but can't...ATOs...after time out plays.

While I'm in the huddle, let me select a play. Show a living (moving, whatever) diagram so I can watch it play out a bunch of times. When I throw the ball in, everything's already set.

Among these should be an option to throw an alley oop from an inbounds pass. I could be wrong, but I've never seen it in a video game. I saw the Suns do this years ago, so it should be in the game.
