    Since Versus is the most convenient mode in online ranked match coz you don't have to wait for more than 5 secs to find an opponent...

    Add another versus mode but different than the previous versus mode. This new mode will also rank you but...

    -Using the same team all over again is not allowed. You need to pick other teams. Much better if in every 31 games that you're going to play you'll also need to use the 31 teams in the NBA. Users will be forced to use the 31 teams in his every 31 games.

    -Before the game starts, allow the user to see the previous or last played game stats of the another user.

    -Before the start of the game allow the users by giving them enough time to adjust or modify their playbooks, camera settings and coach settings.

    -Player Lock is disabled in this mode.

    -5-6 mins per quarter is ok.

    -Fatigue is enabled

    -All-Star or Superstar is fine. But I prefer Superstar.

    Cheesers or users who only use one team will somehow struggle in this mode. Tired of playing against these people.

      allow the ability to pass when in the shooting motion ( like in the 2k series) also give you the abilty to alter your shot when driving in the lane. maybe via the right stick.

      make the passing one button, instead of both a button and directional passing.
      have the speed burst effect how the pass is thrown. simply hitting the button will give you a standard pass. holding down the rt trigger( speed burst) will give you a flashy pass. this would simplify the passing and make it more versitile.

        Good suggestions. Why not make it like these... for PS3 users

        -Keep X as the ordinary pass. Tap X and the player will fake pass. Pressing & holding X will not yet trigger the pass. Releasing X will now trigger the pass.

        -If possible change the off ball controls. By clicking L3... X,O,Triangle, & Square icon will appear for 3 secs. And then pressing any of these 4 buttons will now trigger the offball control.

        -Fancy & High Velocity Direct pass: Holding R2 + double tap any of the 4 buttons (X,O,Triangle,Square) = fancy pass or high velocity pass.

          Also when you pass the ball the player should come to the ball and not sit and wait for it, That is the #1 reason for turnovers in this game.

            Yes and also that's number 1 reason of turnovers and interceptions leading to (lots of) fastbreaks in real basketball games in europe in nba, in streets. Angles and proximity guys you should get better with your pass decisions, it's not a game problem..

              Or a mode in new versus ranked online match where choosing a team is based on random. If the online user or users are not happy or satisfied with their first random pick, allow them to use random again. A maximum of 5 random select is allowed in this mode.

                If you guys decide to include a my player type mode to live next year then you should seriously revamp the CAP mode... it is not as indepth as 2ks and you can not make a player look exactly how you want him to.

                  -More sig shots for other players especially white players coz most of the white players in the game shoot like Hedo Turkoglu.

                  -Better AI defense logic and positioning so that fastbreak exploits after in bounding the ball will be minimized. Add a new defense like 1/4 zone defense.

                  -Make the animations natural not canned.

                  -Make the PIP more difficult when the paint is crowded with defenders.

                  -Allow the ball to be stripped or hit the player's foot when dribbling towards traffic with 2 or 3 defenders. Or force the dribbler to stop dribbling.

                  -Add a charging foul and blocking foul call inside the paint.

                  -Tone down the likelihood of a dunk especially when there are 2-3 defenders right in front of you.

                  -Systematic Fatigue for longer mins per quarter and shorter mins per quarter. If the user keeps on dribbling, shooting, sprinting, and driving the lane using the same player all over again then the player's fatigue should drain fast compared to his teammates. The more active the player is while he's in the court the more he gets tired. Time-outs should do little to help regain fatigue for shorter mins per quarter compared to longer mins per quarter.

                  -Spin move madness. Not all players should be capable of doing this move especially PF's & C's. While doing a spin move in traffic allow the ball to hit into the defender or a teammate's foot. Or a collision animation that will lead to charging or blocking foul.

                  -Boundary Force field. Tone down it pls. Allow the dribbler to resist the defender while dribbling near the sideline and baseline instead of having the dribbler going out of bounds and throwing the ball to the floor.

                  -Realistic animations when opposing players are fighting for the ball when the ball gets loose to the floor, instead of one player instantly grabbing the ball, make it more difficult for both opposing players from grabbing the ball.

                  -Allow the user to enable or disable the accelerated shot.

                  -Make sure that the game is updated with the latest NBA Rules. Coz there are no travelling, and clear path foul in Live 10.

                  -When a player is facing opposite the rim allow him to do a pivot move first instead of doing a ridiculous turn around shot when he is in a stationary position.

                  -More hop step or euro step. Allow the user to choose what direction he can hop step or euro step. Like a straight hs or a 45 degrees diagonal left/right hs to avoid from colliding against the defender. If he hs towards 2-3 defenders then more likely a collision will occur w/c will result to a charge.

                  -Where's the air ball??? I haven't seen even a single air ball in Live 10.

                    Make the players pick up their dribble when in the paint, not lose the ball everytime you drive when its crowded.

                    Make it difficult to make shots when a defender is bodying up or standing straight up in front of a shooter down low or on perimeter. Right now they just turn and shoot regardless how close the defender is.

                    Less contested shots. I dont mean trying to block the shot to contest it either. If you are not open then you are covered, you can shoot that shot anytime but its not a good one and its low percentage. On superstar the cpu consistently makes this. This is why the cpu takes too many shots in 12 min quarters because it it continually takes these type of shots. It should realise its not a good shot and move the ball or create a better one. This would probably work online too, missing when a defender is near by not necessarily trying to block the shot.

                    Dunk on animations on 1 or 2 defenders when help defense is late.

                    Holding the turbo button should result in more agressive animations. In the context of the game, it should result in more agressive dunks, steals(stripping the ball included), blocks, rebounds and diving for loose balls.
                    All of these should result in fouls if performed when out of position. e.g. Offensive fouls on dunks when a defender is in front(heavy collision),
                    reach in fouls on attempted strip or lungeing steals(dribble or no dribble) when not in good position,
                    over the back fouls on rebounding when someone is infront of you,
                    and body contact and hacking of arms on attempted blocks of shots, dunks or lay ups.
                    You could even add it to the post game, holding turbo too long when backing down or pushing back as a defender. Take into account WHO the players are. (Shaq vs Birdman)

                    More fouls. Reaching in, loose ball, over the back and running through screens. e.g. Holding turbo while running through screens should result in a foul. Also trying to take a charge when someone is driving should result in heavy collision, whether its a block or charge they shouldnt be able to throw up a shot let alone make it.

                    You should be able to help out on a drive and just stand there to contest and make them take a tough shot. Right now your defender automatically jumps and create in air contact which results in fouls or if you are playing good defense with good in front position you some how get called for a foul even though they initiated the contact. You should be able to decide if you want to risk fouling a player or not. Helping out and standing there is a lot less risky than trying to block the shot. Again holding turbo should have an effect. Right now you get called for a foul whether in good psition or not just for the sake of having more foul calls.

                    Have your cpu teamates play better defense. You cant play with 5 players all at the same time. There are times 2 players are running off screens, who do I defend? Im also protecting the drive and if you change too late, your cpu teamate doesnt close out properely or cpu makes a contested shot. Even if they miss you have to change to a rebounder because they dont rebound. If they played like the cpu does this would be the toughest game, more contested shots, less made shots, better offense, better help defense.

                    Also have the players play like themselves please... I hate seeing Marvin Williams play like Jordan just because its on superstar and Joe Johnson hit contested shots like he is Bird. You should be able to affect the shot by guarding them in their space or closing out properely taking away their space and not necessarily leaving the ground to block.

                    Sorry that its long but this game could be the greatest basketball sim ever made.

                        I really believe that an important part of this game would be to have the ability to customize a jumpshot ala the Tiger Woods games 3 or 4 years ago.
                        -Elevation
                        -Ball Placement
                        -Release Point
                        -Speed of jump shot/ How Quick is the release
                        -Starting motion
                        If this could be added then imagine all the different jumpshots that people could come up with that were specific and unique to each player.

                          Online leagues MUST be more use friendly.

                          I think it is great that dynamic dna updates effect online league games.

                          Only problem? I cant friggen adapt my playbook in the online league menus.

                          So if I want to load up my playbook with post ups and high post isos for a cold, outside shooting Kobe (for example)...I have to do this on the main NBA Live menu for the team Im using, and then pray that when I go online, the playbooks assignments are correct.

                          Often, they are not. You'll find your playbook assignments all scrambled up: Pick and roll plays with Tim Duncan assigned to handle the ball instead of your guard for example...and only a few of your plays actually operating correctly.

                            More control of player around the rim and what type of layup or dunk he performs. Hopefully more options than there were in 10.

                              My suggestions for NBA Live 11
                              • bring back the tutorials
                              • practice mode has to be in there for plays and scrimmages
                              • presentation should look and feel just like the real thing
                              for instance...seeing the commentators while they are commentating like at timouts and halftime, end of game..while replays are playing..(not the whole time accourse)
                              • controls need to be responsive!!! (no control = no fun)
                              • gameplay should be immersive, feeling contact on defense and post up moves, maybe even a little vibration on dunks
                              • at time outs maybe even have the coaches zero in on the plus and minuses of the "current game play situation" like we need to get stops, shut down kobe on help defense.
                              • player movement needs to be seemless...you can create all the game modes that you want but at the end of the day if gameplay is limited so..then my euphoria will also be limited...speed needs to be different for faster players, defense should be better for better defenders, dribbling should be obvious for the better dribblers, post up moves should be obvious for better post players..(ie chris bosh.)
                              you guys come so close to getting it right it down right scary...and can I just put a bid in right now to continue improving your communication about updates now and when you start the hype enginge about nba live 11, getting exact dates and times information will be available will go a long way to not having to read countless threads of fluff.....thanks

                                #1- In game saves (like in 2K10). This option should have been considered for this years version since most of us play 12 min qrts.

                                #2- The ability to check player stats on the fly (ala nba 2K) because it's nice to know who's doing what on the fly. If not more stat updates on screen.

                                #3 Dynamic Season: I'd like to be able to go back to see box scores for games i've played.
