    Re: NBA Live '13 Wishlist

    My suggestions:

Forget EVERYTHING they have done after NBA Live 2005, although I think 08 and 09 were decent.

Do not build anything off of their past few games, just start over.

Try to somehow bring back memories of NBA Live 2005 because so many people loved that game.

Make dynasty mode completely different from that of 2K's but make sure it stands out in a unique way.

Keep up the impressive online play, as most would say that has had the edge between the two basketball games.

Do the best job possible of making the player movements and navigation look realistic.

Also, one thing that people look at but don't bring up is how the ball is released all the way until it goes through the net. How pleasant and realistic will all that look? That is very important.

In this day and age, go to moves and player tendencies are important, but don't over-emphasize it. Focus mainly on making the player as effective as they are in real life.

      Teambuilder

This is my biggest request. I think it would be easier for the Live series considering they already have Game Face and Teambuilder in a couple of their other games. What really made me think about this is the New Orleans new owner saying that he wanted to change the mascot. As a native of Charlotte, NC this of course made me think of the possibility of the Bobcats becoming the Charlotte Hornets once again.
This would need to be an online thing so that you can fully customize everything that you want and download it over the EA servers.
With this you can create expansions, relocate teams, or simply edit an existing team. In my mind, I would want to make the Bobcats the Hornets, change the logo, colors, court etc. Change the New Orleans Hornets to the New Orleans Jazz and then rename the Utah Jazz something else (maybe the Utah Bobcats?).
If you wanted to create a team, you could start from scratch, and when it came to your roster, you could have the CPU give you computer generated players, or you could use Game Face to get real faces on the team.
You could also relocate teams. Say I want to relocate the Sacramento Kings, I could move them to Seattle, change the mascot to the SuperSonics, and when I edit the roster, I would set it to the current Kings roster. Bada-bing. Bada-boom.
You could create up to 10 expansion teams for a total or 40 teams in the league.

      Game Face

Being able to get your actual face into the game is huge. Especially if you can still go in and edit hair, facial hair, etc. If they don't feel like doing art updates (like 2K12) I could upload Kobe on GameFace, have that Kobe replace the Kobe that is in game, and voila! I can edit his hair, facial hair, build, etc. myself as the season progresses by simple going into the Edit Player option.
You could also create all the legends and classic teams you want.

      Create Draft Classes- Online

Game Face would REALLY help creating draft classes. There are a lot of guys out there that can make the college guys look pretty realistic, but imagine being able to use their ACTUAL faces in the draft class. What would look more realistic than that? Not to mention editing tendencies, ratings, etc. would be a lot quicker on a computer.
      NBA
      Charlotte HORNETS

      NFL
      Carolina Panthers

      College
      Carolina Tar Heels

      Won't change until:
      1) Hornets win a playoff game
      2) Panthers win a Super Bowl
      3) Tar Heels win another championship (Completed: 4/3/2017)

      PSN:BetterHigh1990

      Starting 1/10/12

Honestly I think instead of focusing on superstar mode or teambuilder or accessories ... I just hope they have the best gameplay possible... Look at Madden, NCAA Football, and FIFA.. they all have awesome gameplay and as long as the gameplay is smooth and realistic; it will win over a lot of people. Start basic otherwise this game will be another "Elite"

A wishlist would be so much easier if we knew what build they were building off of ('10 or '11).

I think they should open up a little more because right now I'm lost. I want to give my thoughts but my hands are tied.

From that kotaku article that was posted a while back, they were building off 11, but not directly off the finished product. The developer said they looked through elite to see what they were going to keep from it.

Yeah, that still makes it tough since I only have the demo of '11 and can't say whats good or bad with it.

Guess I'll post something up once E3 gets here and they show something.

If they are going for realistic presentation they need about 10 separate tirades of Jeff Van Gundey going off about flopping.

I used to like JVG before those tirades -- he is in my 'Bill Walton' group now

They should try to make it as natural as possible, those animation layups and dunks in 2K kill me. Be able to play passing lanes, make tight passes, No psychic CPU, they seem to always know when a pass is being made or shot is taken, no outrageous blocks! All star weekend would be a nice addition. Make the floor spacing better than 2K. In 2K everything seems so tight. and there is much room on an NBA floor.

they need to put in that nba street tie-in, because i feel that we like to play as a unknown street baller to king of the courts then drafted into the nba , it should make a significant journey throughout a game mode like that

Like Ncaa Basketball there should be two sets of announcers. Mike Breen and Grundy and Trico and Hubie Brown. Each Crew brings something new when calling a game. And they rotate them every game.
