Ahh 23, I like your approach on doing it little by little as you play each team in the league...that would make it much more digestable. So I guess then that means you can make Global Roster Player Edits even AFTER you launch your Franchise?.....Most games seem to lock this down from edits once you create your franchise

I tried this, and I don't think it's a bad idea at all. The game plays smooth....but a little less exciting. And, it seems nearly equivalent to lowering Game Speed. I'd rather do that, and let the players keep their ratings.

Smooth??? It's already smooth, it's definitely smoother than the other game. Like the above OP said, it makes it less exciting.

No offense to you guys, but I hope the NBA Live developers do not implement this into their patch or future DNA downloads.

Players in the league aren't equally agile. I'm not really understanding why this would be a good thing either. I haven't tried it, but I'm happy with the way the game runs.

I don't understand the need to tinker with a perfectly fine game. How is giving everyone the same agility making the game more realistic?

I know it's gotta be driving you slider makers nuts, but other than bumping up the fouls, this game doesn't need any slider adjustments. Just put it on all star and play 12 minute quarters. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I disagree...I think the gameplay is better and more realistic with Tomba's 40 Agility Edits, BUT I also agree that any time you equalize an Attribute across the board, your also removing the distinctions that separate the players in that same category.

With that said, what I think the best solution EA should do is just look at LOWERING ALL Player's Agility Rating proportionally until they get player movement that is similar to what Tomba has discovered without removing the relationships between different Player Agility ratings. If that is possible.


I think it is with a good -30 Agility cut across the board for all NBA Players. Even if they dont in fact LOWER the RATING number that shows up under their Profile but at least just implement the effect of what it would play like.

So the game is perfect no need to do anything but increase fouls right?

Now there's no doubt it's good out of the box but i'm amazed that we have some people still trying to convince others that the game is perfect or it's the greatest b-ball game ever.

If that's the case why patch anything?

They are working on patch right for a few gameplay tweaks. But your saying the patch isn't needed and the only thing that needs done is increase the foul slider

Even though all of them are at 40 doesnt mean they all play a like. This really does work and makes the game 10 times smoother. I don't know how making them all 40 works but it really does.

I saw that the player ratings were less involved this year so i was hoping that instead of last years ratings where i felt they were maybe half editable WITh results i feel this year that half being replaced by all of them mattering. agility works as a jitter eraser in madden 10 as well...

I agree with Darkfudge that every player doesn't have the same agility so we should lower everybody's agility rating across the board. Some players should be higher and some are lower but no one should be over 40 and no one should be below 25. It should be between 30-40.

What does the Agilty rating do ? Because it makes even the Post moves look better and jumpers. I might be seeing things but everything is smoother

Just tried it myself......This works and yes it does make everything feel even more smooth. I agree maybe the agility should be between 30-40. Thanks Tomba now off to edit the rest of the league

I just play two games with Spurs and Hornets. One time i was Spurs and lost by 15. Then i switch over to hornets since its the only 2 i edit.I went in 2 Ot and won by 6. Had a blast. This game keeps getting better with this edit and the Color Change someone posted.

Keep on truckin' tomba. Nice find. I played about 5 games before reading your post. After making changes, I could see a difference right off the bat.
