    Ok, I'm a little slow and can't find global ratings at all. I looked under the roster menu and still don't see it. I want to try this out so could someone give me a little step by step to finding it? Thanks in advance.

      Go to edit roster ratings and the 1st one is the global ratings. I put it at minus 99 then put plus 40 to get all of them to 40. Dont just put minus 40 or plus 40.

          To the developers IF listening (YOU Marcus!)

          You're game's much better this year, but the same thing always gets overlooked. The robotic feel of the game...Granted the controls are smooth but all in all the trigger of animations are OFF due to how much action is placed on the player ratings.

          I do not know if I am correct in saying this, but I believe ratings trigger animations. The higher a rating THE FASTER IT KICKS in correct? IF so, agility being brought to 40 for everyone almost resets any "middle" hesitation of animations going forward.

          DNA is awesome. DNA is awesome. BUT....... When DNA is tied into the triggering of these animations the game can be twitchy THROUGHOUT the season because the agility rating kicks in too fast when set any higher. meaning agility is the ratings response that the engine looks for to trigger the inputted movement from the controller. ACHEE WAH WAH...

          I would love to see if you guys had some pull with the folks over at EATiburon because i applied this edit to Madden 10 first earlier andit worked wonders. Now after just "TRYING IT" in NBA Live 10 it worked almost to perfection and the response from the community is starting to see it and I'm thankful they can benefit from my insanity and obsession with EDITING the game and NOT playing it ever LOL(You remember Marcus when i was headed str8 toward the sliders in NCAA lol!)

            not to change the subject here....but you can apply GLOBAL TEAM PLAYER EDITS in Madden?...or do you have to edit to EACH player individually??

              Why not just lower everyone's agility rating by 50, that way you keep the differentiation between the players ratings so instead of Jameer and Zydrunas both having 40, Jameer has lets say 43 and Zydrunas has 15? I don't know but everyone having the same rating in agility doesn't seem right to me.

                I'm not in favor of this idea. I tried it with the Bucks playing against the Bulls and Heat off-line, all-star 12 minutes, sliders untouched. It seemed like the players lost some of their individuality. Certain guys didn't seem as explosive.

                  I tried it also, and came away with the same feeling. I'll try lowering everyone's agility rating by 45 as a whole, so if they were a 96, they will be a 51 when Im done and so on, that way I can keep the difference between all the players the same as what they were intended to be.

                    It's more like a arcade rating at default for all players.

                    There are 3 main ratings every year that make Live's animations look terrible at times.

                    Agility
                    Quickness
                    Jumping

                    Combine all three of those ratings together up high and you get guys sliding, taking off like a rocket or simply doing moves that are lightning quick.

                    The only way to tone it down is to reduce the game speed or edit the ratings manually. If watch all the EA trailers before a game is released you always see player movement that is smoother than the actual game. Makes you wonder if they are slowing the game down during those trailers.

                    Drop the speed slider down a bit and you'll see the same results that Tomba posted but because the actual game speed slider also effects player speed it's going to have guys looking like they are jogging and not sprinting consistently. But they'll look really good in making a move because the agility and quickness was reduced aswell.

                    They should actually do a Attributes slider like the other game where can actually have the slider control the effects of agility and quickness as opposed to editing the actual player ratings in the game.

                    Either that or they should re-think their approach towards assigning higher ratings for Verticals, Quickness and Agility reduce the ratings down accross the board to below 50.

                    Verticals should be assigned in junction with real life verticals not having guys in the 90's and 80's. A guy with 48 rating for Vertical in LIve can dunk just as good as a guy with 88 Vertical the only difference is the guy with 48 vertical is going to look a lot more realistic while doing it.

                      That is the best way to do it because then all players aren't equal.

                      You do a ratings value system exactly that way which keeps seperation between between agile players and slower players. This way LBJ isn't the same rating as Grant Hill in agility.

                      I'm surprised Tomba made them all equal because in years past we've always given them seperation so you could still feel the difference between a guy with 46 agility and a guy that was reduced down to like 26 agility.

                      Most of the bigs would be the one's who you see in the 20's after this global edit tweak.

                          Okay guys, I'm confused. This all seems like a good idea, but won't the daily updates just cancel these changes unless the updating is deactivated manually within our systems? I think most people like myself want to get the daily updates.

                          Maybe I'm missing something here.

                            my opinion on the agility edit is that this puts all players on the same plane in terms of animations triggering....

                            i dont get the feeling that LBJ is less explosive and the same as G. Hill because they both have 40, my thing is that both of the animations they express when head to head, lets say one on defense and the other on offense both trigger at the same speed,

                            i dont know if ^ that makes sense but its feeling and this conclusion came from editing madden and ncaa that AILITY does not control a players FLEXIBILIY it controls the speed of how that specific player transitions from anaimation to animation

                                There is no quickness or acceleration ratings though this year
                                A lot if the player individual ratings have been toned down like i said early so agilities the only thing that can be fixed as far as erasing the twitchness which i hate and is in live EVERY year...
