Yeah I have the same question as Mr.Maddog. Wouldn't the daily updates mess this all up? EA should notify synergy about this if it were to be patched to not make it go over 40.

I think EA should fix it...same for me agility should be scaled with lower rating so that they are round about 40...or they should add a slider for that...all in all agility is way too high the game looks much better when you drop it to 40...you will have the feeling that the trailers have shown...

SO after all: I think it improves the gameplay significantly!

There is no quickness or acceleration ratings though this year
A lot if the player individual ratings have been toned down like i said early so agilities the only thing that can be fixed as far as erasing the twitchness which i hate and is in live EVERY year...

its there tomba you have to access it through the create player> edit player menu and all the ratings from last year is there..

I'd say find the highest rated player in the league agility wise... if he's say a 96. Reduce globally everybody by 56, so that guy is no still the top rated guy with a 40, but everyone else is below. Differentation between players, and you're still not above 40.

Looks like Nash and CP3 are both rated a 95, highest in the league. So subtract 55 from everybody. I'm off to try it.

its there tomba you have to access it through the create player> edit player menu and all the ratings from last year is there..

Know i know it's just that i want to steer clear of editing player attributes...i will in 2k10 tho...

I've realised that there's even more things that can be dropped or upped.

I'm doing a write up with a new roster/slider set that i've been working on for gosh know like 12 hrs now str8 lol...

I am reducing everyone's agility by 45. Nash, Bryant and Paul have 95 agility. I am allowing 50 as the max so that the ratio is basically 2:1 regarding the agility issue. Maybe the same should apply for vertical...

I went forth with the -55, and things are playing VERY well. Guys are still driving and dishing, animations are fluid. Getting great results. Excellent find Tomba.

Thank you my friend! I'm just happy that maybe EA can now realise this and put it automatically in a patch. if I was there whew...I'd yellin at the art director too! "This practice arena looks like crap!"

I found that you can either just go up and down by 40 with agility or make everyone 40. I prefer 40 because it's just makes their speed and animations hit just right with the speed slider...

It also appears that the fastbreak anticipation may be something to be tinkered with. I dont think there are enough fb's. My question is does the fb anticipation apply on offense, defense or both??

Ive been playing with the edits but its just something that while it does smooth things out it also quicksands some of the game and guys with certain athleticism wont have it the same and therefore it also hinders some animations

I think it needs more work.

Which guys are you thinking that it's hindering Dre? I can't feel a lot of difference playing with LBJ w/ these edits, and the quicker, more athletic guys are still going nuts on me. Bosh had 23 pts, 17 rebounds, and 4 blocks against my Cavs.

I agree that I think it needs some tinkering, but this is a really good base.
