I'm still yet to check out the other option, but i'm also intersted in what Tomba and playmakers come up with regarding the sliders ect.
So far i'm certain that the lowering of the agility improves the game, but i am finding it difficult to justify shaq having the same agility as rose.Comment

that's why you lower everybody's agility by -40 under team rosters. At the top just put -40 or -45. If so and so is a 75 his agility will be lowered by -40. Each players agility will be different. Did you even go try it out yet?Comment

i will say this the agility edit is great, however i am noticing that reactions on hustle plays seem a tad too slow
i did the edits by 30( all credit to tomba for the idea in the first place i just used a different number) so guys have varied numbers but anyway the ball was loose and a C was right next it but he was moving at a snails pace( he had a 71 in hustle rating) i was able to run by and scoop it with a guard, now this is another can of worms but for the overall control i am getting especially defensively i can live with this for now....
i was really struggling defensively before the edits, i would touch the analog and the big players would completely slide out of position granting a wide open lane, post D was impossible.NOW PLAYING: NBA Live, madden 11,12, battlefield v, F1 2020 and injustice 2 and COD:MW

carnalnirvava I said forget it in my franchise and bumped the hustle ratings for my team and rebounding for my team...
That way they dont NOT go for boards or not go after the ball and its not overdone..

That is the best way to do it because then all players aren't equal.
You do a ratings value system exactly that way which keeps seperation between between agile players and slower players. This way LBJ isn't the same rating as Grant Hill in agility.
I'm surprised Tomba made them all equal because in years past we've always given them seperation so you could still feel the difference between a guy with 46 agility and a guy that was reduced down to like 26 agility.

I maxed rebounding, sorry to say and I still dont get me all but its alot better... I also maxed the rebounding slider and depleted the CPUs
It doesnt give you an advantage either, just kind of evens things up.
Cant remember the hustle rating number but i do see them at least attempting to get loose balls and at times diving for them too..

About the only ratings I'd touch globally is the Agility and Verticals.
After that i think it's wise to just do individual player tweaks this year. Like 1-2 players per team but only if you see the guy not playing the way he should.
Shaq is a good example I'd individually tweak a few things on Shaq to make him more physical and less likley to shoot any jumpers.
A guy like Dampier I'd make him strictly a garbage man around the basket meaning he's only going to grab offensive boards and try to score inside off rebounds with dunks. His entire shooting mentality should be reduced down and his DNA for setting the screen should be really high because the Mavs offense only involves Dampier as the screener.
Also, IMO the fastbreaks aren't really broken as I explained to the guys in the slider thread. It's the level's you play on that seem to take away the fastbreak and transistion game. On Pro Level the CPU and Human can fastbreak pretty realistic. In fact i'd say the CPU's fastbreak logic on Pro is the best I've seen on any skill level this year.
You can tweak the Fastbreak Anticipation ratings just a little but i'd only do that for only for about 10-15 guys who really want to see stand out in transistion. A guy like LBJ or Wade making them damn near impossible to handle in the open floor.
So i don't know if Tomba is going to do this or not....he's more of a guy that focuses on player movement and such where as I'm a little more hands on with their actual tendencies and ratings.

I'm not gonna do too many more tweaks for now as i'm stll new to the game and still learning the mechanics and right now i have no idea who plays like what or if it's right or wrong cause i stopped following years ago - It's funny how a game can get you back into a sport thoughand i'll be up to speed soon enough.

Do we lower everyones agility rating to 40 or -40 on their original rating?
I did as i read on your post, lowering to 40 for all players and the game definitely felt better, but then i thought that it wouldnt be right for every player to be equal on the subject.
