Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
Any reason why practice gyms and no shot release feedback was implemented this year? You introduced new ways to shoot but we have no way of mastering shooting!
Please respond thanks.Comment

Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
Dear Devs: I am a 2K gamer who is seriously thinking about going over to NBA Live 10 this year however I have a few concerns.
1. do you have to buy the game brand new to have access to player DNA
2. I have heard some grumblings about rookies and "role" players having generic likenesses and lacking signature tattoos/shooting styles/etc...if this is true will player DNA update their appearances and accessories/signature styles??? 2K does a relatively good job of this, and I was wondering if the DNA system was comparable?
3. I have heard the create a player is less than acceptable...for example, I have heard no matter what you do your player looks like an alien and the tattoo placement/accessory placement is wrong??
4. I have read on these boards that there are only 3 dunk styles, and that they become very repetitive after a while??
5. I read that you cannot edit players..I am assuming that is because player DNA updates anything and everything associated w/ a players looks/accessories/skills/signature style..is this true
anyway, if anyone could honestly answer these Q's it would greatly help my decision to drop 60 bucks on this or stick w/ NBA 2k.

2. There are generic players who weren't officially signed by the 15th October but DNA updates will alter them to look like their actual player. And any missing tats will generally be added throughout the year. Same with accessories.
3. It could be improved a lot but it isn't totally bad.
4. There are a few more than that you will see more dunks than others though.
5. You can edit players there will be some locked settings for real players but you can still edit them.
Hope that helps answer your questionsComment

Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
Any information on if there will be a second patch coming, addressing some of the issues that weren't fixed IE: online fatigue, sub menus and the 3 pt shooting exploits. Also, in terms of fixing some of the problems the patch created? I'm looking forward to a second patch in the future, because if not, this game (online aspect) has become a complete let down for me.Comment

Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
If it's been answered I have not seen it........will the Bobcats home court be patched to feature the correct logo? As a person planning to play a full dynamic season with them, it's a significant annoyanceComment

Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
1. No you can buy a 2nd game but to get access to DNA you can buy a license code for US$15 if the copies code hadn't been used.

We used the reference we got from the NBA. We might be able to DLC at some point, not sure.Comment

Re: Ask The Devs a Question Thread II
Edit: I'm not trying to be sarcastic and I understand not all questions are worth the time to answer, but the thread is "ask a developer a question" and it's 17 pages long, filled with questions, and I count maybe 6 answers provided by Live reps...You guys had a solid open line of communication, up until 10/6.Last edited by joel0078; 10-30-2009, 02:22 AM.Comment
