Ya know, without a PA announcer, the game sort of seems like there's one very popular pick-up game going on.

Even AND 1 games have PA announcers.

Check the Denver PA announcer. It's a totally different guy than the actual PA Announcer, who you have correctly in the Play Now games. For some reason, whenever I play a Dynamic Season game at Denver, all the custom calls are gone???

Is it possible to do floaters in this game? Whenever I try my player always does a stepback jumper that usually gets blocked.

You have to me moving forward then press shoot as you let go of the left stick. If you're getting a stepback that means you're pressing away from the basket.

Cheers Tha_Kid, that worked perfectly. All this time I thought I had to pull back on the left stick to do a floater.

No prob, the videos out there don't demonstrate floaters so its not obvious.

Developers....Let me say i think you all did a good job improving the game from last year to this year. However, I have a MAJOR issue that doesnt seem to be being addressed.

THAT IS THE ONLINE LEAGUE STRUCTURE!

Its is absolutely horrible. SO MUCH SO, that I am considering going back to 2K and selling Live!

The online league structure is a JOKE. Just like there are a lot of players who love the association modes, there are JUST AS MANY of us who love to play online and in online leagues.

What I dont understand is how Madden can have an online league structure, but Live not?

I never like to compare the two games, but something has to be done. NBA2K gives you so much control over league options it isnt funny.

But at the very least, can we at LEAST be able to sim games, reset dropped games, and replace inactive owners???

Devs...this MUST be addressed and I am praying that you all are taking a serious look into this because myself and many other gamers are un pleased.

Quick question on dead ball subs. I know you can push the d-pad directionally to access the substitution/coaching/defensive quick menus during dead balls, timeouts, b/n qtrs, etc. But when I push "A" to sub, it advances thru the cutscene and returns to the game before I can initiate my sub.

Could you switch the cut-scene advance button to "X" or something so it doesn't interfere with my substitution/coaching/defensive changes?

All the shoes, accessories, etc. are manual changes. We do our best here do provide an update every Friday. Currently our guy (steph) is out of the office, so this may be next week. To your point, yes we need to update these guys.

Aside from those manual changes, DNA is an automated service providing DNA, lineups, injuries, streaks, shooting %, and tendencies for every player every day. As with any process there are some errors that we address as soon as we can.

How about some player changes?
There are many issues with some key players
-Iguodala, which happens to be my favorite player, seems too lanky and skinny.Also his face looks almost nothing like him!

It really slows down the game, and people quit the game pause after pause. You guys should also remove the auto sub feature in team play. Every 4-5 whistles, they will just bring the starters back in. It completely defeats the purpose of the substitution at that point.

And where are the clear path fouls this year?

On a side not, could you please explain how the "Hair Updates" will work this season? Thanks!

my question for the devs is what triggers double teams to happen. I notice at the end of the game or at halftime, some star players will get double teamed. I also notice post plays draw the double team as well. Does the double team reflect on how your shooter is or is it just random and set for the end of each half.

p.s i already have my help defense slider for the cpu maxed out at 100%

Well if you go to 2k for the online leagues, you won't even be able to play a game, even after the patch. Live's online leagues are bare bones, but at least they actually work.

It's funny cause today is a sad day for me. I waited for a year and a half to be in the league that my friend here^^^ is speaking of. I was enthralled that it was moving to Live cause I am done with 2K. I recently lost my home to a fire, and am rebuilding my entire life for my family and myself. I FOUGHT with my wife to justify buying Live cause we still need furniture. Now my league is split down the middle because the league structure is soooo bad. Half of the league including the admins are on there way back to 2K. I cannot justify the purchase of 2K so i'm stuck in limbo wondering if we are gonna finish the league on Live. How can Garreth Reader not care about the league structure? Can he be so out of touch that he doesn't realize the importance of them? Do they wanna keep losing to 2K? Is it acceptable to run off the guys who have been patiently waiting for the game to improve? I NEED
answers. I DEMAND an answer because if I trade in my Live then I am never coming back. Never.

The gm or administrator not being able to control sliders for online leagues is a very poor design. Are there any intentions of adding this feature in a patch for live 10 and if not can we look forward to a more feature friendly online league system for live 11.
