Stop playing on all-star...play on Superstar and your problem is solved...The only thing that needs patched is your brains for always thinking every little problem is solved with a patch...get your game up and find a basketball solution instead of declaring every little problem you have with the game as an exploit

I don't see how DNA would help because it doesn't take into account level of difficulty does it? I'm assuming it just registers those shots as uncontested even if some of them are circus shots.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, the DNA should show those as tougher shots than a wide-open corner three and stepback moves should be at a lower % rate for basically everyone. It almost seems as if those shots go in at a higher rate than a wide open corner three does though -- almost every time I take one or see one taken, I know it's going in... and I'm right what seems like 75% of the time. They had that in 08 and 09 too, people would run to the corner and shoot while falling out of bounds and it went in almost automatically... seems like a carryover to me.

Hopefully they can modify the DNA or something to account for the movement on the shot and the difficulty of shooting a stepback vs. a set-feet jumper.

what level were you playing on???...because thus far on Superstar I have yet to see the nonsense and I play exclusively online...Maybe you need to play more OS dudes or people you trust...I rarely play people I don't know and even when playing random clowns the nonsense is at a minimum on Superstar

I play both allstar and superstar and have had a great experience online up untill yesterday. I guess people are figuring out now that the hop back fade away 3 pointers are money. Once the animation kicks in with a good 3 point shooter it does not matter what the difficulty setting is, or hand in the face defence, it is a 95% chance of a swish. The only way to stop it is to get lucky and block it.

such a shame this game is so deep and it s a great experience between two human when play properly,
i actually have good results on line (20-7) and even if i think that s the most cheesse proff bball game ever i see myself stop playing online i m absolutly hating playing that way and force myself to invent some technique to prevent cheesing.
last week when i began to play i thougt the game was totally secure but now only after 1 week since release those guys finally find someways to cheat.....

ya. if they have found this just after a week, i'm afraid to see what they find in a month or two. it seemed so cheese proof for a few days. and as someone tried to say earlier there is no "basketball solution." Once somebody actually does this to you, you truly see there is NOTHING you can do about it. they could fix this i think by lowering the step back three pointer percentage, but till then (who knows when the patch will come out), im not going to enjoy online as much.

still, its a great game. i was just a little frustrated with deron williams putting up 90 points on me with a fade away jumper almost from half court.

It's great off-line, but the big problem I have with the game human vs. human is the sliding around the court. Maybe you can address that off-line with rating/speed adjustments, but obviously you can't for standard ranked games online.

You can literally come down and pull up and score every single point with D.Williams, Mo.Williams, J.Nelson, etc. I just put up 42pts with Ben Gordon. 3 pointers are like layups in this game.

Only teams you will see online are Lakers, Cavs, Magic, Jazz, sprinkled with a little Grizzlies. Any Bucks fans out their? Any Nets fans out their? How bout some Knicks fans??? Timberwolves maybe??????? Hawks possibly???????????????? I don't know, how about Spurs??? No Heat fans????

I had been really anticipating this game man. Sad that it has to be put down for 2+ weeks after waiting so long just to see if a patch will fix some of these things. And defensive matchups still doesn't work properly. It works better than 09 but your assignments never stay on the man they are assigned to. And Lord knows they need to have ranked games on SS. I heard right now it's on pro. Dude I just played crossing over with D.Howard into the lane, just sad. Playing against the CPU that stuff is not possible to due. Don't understand why this can't be translated to online play.
