    IGN review, 8.8

    Presentation
The video clips in Dynasty mode take the stale away from cutting, signing, and drafting players. The menu system, especially during the draft, however, isn?t laid out in a functional enough manner.

    7.0 Graphics
Ten-man mo-cap makes the movement look real, even if the players who are moving don?t. No where near the player detail of ESPN NBA Basketball.

    9.0 Sound
Marv and The Czar prove to be a dynamic duo on the mic, while the sounds of Right Thurr make you feel, well, right there (or thurr, depending on your level of hood-speak).

    8.5 Gameplay
Separating the shoot and dunk buttons is a genius move that will (and should) be ripped off by every basketball game designer next season. Too bad you can?t hit jump shots.

    8.5 Lasting Appeal
The free agent mess in Dynasty takes a little bit away from the longevity, although it?s still a great two-player game, online or not.

    8.8 OVERALL:
(out of 10 / not an average)

major complaints are the lack of a mid range game and some free agent glitch after the first season, nothing major...I'm off to pick it up.

lack of a midrange game isn't a problem? I'm sure this can be adjusted through sliders and what not, but online it's going to be a problem.

In your second season and beyond, if you skip the free agent signing period and move on to the season; you can then go back into Sign Free Agents in the Roster Management section. Here, not only will find that the computer teams failed to sign any of your players, they failed to sign basically any of the free agents on the market. You can then go in and sign every star in the league who's available at the league minimum, stacking your team for the upcoming season with players like Iverson, Ray Allen, and whoever else is available at the time.
