the higher the difficulty level, the fiercer the computer will storm back and beat you in the fourth quarter. It's like all of a sudden, your team gets ice cold, but the computer can drain fade-aways from the arc like he's standing under the basket.

Well that clinches it, ESPN for me again this year. Live looked great in the vids, but there's nothing more frustrating than EA's patented late game catch-up AI.

Of course some people will still claim that it doesn't have the comeback ai.

I'm sure at least one person will tear into me and call it "realistic".

They'll probably say that you can't play the game or that it happens in real life so it has to be in the game. But the point is in real life you can feel if your shot is right and you can choose whether to shoot it or not. But in a video game the computer chooses what shots you make or what rebounds you get.

"In your second season and beyond, if you skip the free agent signing period and move on to the season; you can then go back into Sign Free Agents in the Roster Management section. Here, not only will find that the computer teams failed to sign any of your players, they failed to sign basically any of the free agents on the market. You can then go in and sign every star in the league who's available at the league minimum, stacking your team for the upcoming season with players like Iverson, Ray Allen, and whoever else is available at the time. "

Wow thats a big hit for franchise mode.

Well comebacks happen nowhere more frequently than in the REALISTIC NBA.

As for "feeling whether your shot is on", I wouldn't know how anyone (not even SEGA) could implement that into a video game.

But then again...I'm more into a fun game rather than trying to simulate a game to an average % of everything all the time.

IGN are a bunch of idiots. You can make those AI changes via sliders. Look at Madden. In Madden in the 4th Q your team goes ICE Cold but if you adjust the sliders correctly the team won't come back too hard. IGN are a bunch of **** suckers and didn't tweak the game. I got to play it at GameStop and adjusted the sliders a little bit (too much in my advantage). Overall the game is great. What IGN is saying they are smoking something just like GameSpot. Its like they didn't even take time to adjust what the game could be.

the higher the difficulty level, the fiercer the computer will storm back and beat you in the fourth quarter.

Life just doesn't happen in averages....there are peaks and valleys.

I know they can't simulate that but having the computer just able to make every shot just so that the computer can win isn't good.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
