Sorry BL but I tried this and they still dont sign star FA's

I think its a Salary Cap thing, if only we could turn it off

May be a solution here.

I've run a few more sims. I've been checking the Upcoming Free Agents list, then seeing who comes up. Some FAs are resigned by their teams before the Free Agency period. KG never hits the FA pool, Kobe only infrequently, AI every time.

However, the big names that do get released continue to sit there. AI, Stephon, Kobe are never picked up by a CPU team in Free Agency.

However, now that I'm simming into the second season ... those big players do get signed within the first few days by other CPU teams. For league minimum ($30,000).

So these players will show up again - it's just the finances are wonky. So if you just don't take advantage of it, and ignore the fact that the Clip Joint got AI for a 1 year $30,000 deal .... it might not be that bad.

No, that is untrue. It happend either way. Chances are people who keep repeating it have never actually tried it themselves. Both Fossen (PS2) and myself (Xbox) have tried it without simming and it happens either way.

Thats the thing, alot of ppl are complaining and dont even have the game yet. And so far only one person in this entire thread has actually seen the Bug. Yet, nobody has done anything to find a solution. If I was at home, I'd be looking for a solution but since I'm not, I gotta hear ppl diss EA when they have yet to find out if it only happens when you sim. I dont know.
