Yes, I believe some get re-signed. I think this mainly afects the big-ticket players. I'll try to test more.

This may also be the result of a poor implementation of the cap - it's not a hard cap in the NBA, but Live seems to treat it as if it is. There's no option to go over the cap and eat the luxury tax.

Dammit this sucks. Oh well, cant win them all. Only thing I can see doing is what SoMiss suggested. Signing them for the league minimum, then trading them back to thier respective squads.

All you might have to do is drop a player from your roster to the free agents, pick up the superstar thats in the free agents, trade the superstar for a IR scrub on the team that you want to put him back on, drop the scrub to the free agents and resign the guy you droped at first.

Wash, Rinse and repeat.

Somebody need to try this.

All you might have to do is drop a player from your roster to the free agents, pick up the superstar thats in the free agents, trade the superstar for a IR scrub on the team that you want to put him back on, drop the scrub to the free agents and resign the guy you droped at first.

Wash, Rinse and repeat.

Ok everyone email EA and let's get the word out about this lazy bug. How can they overlook it??? Last year's game didn't have this. You would think they use the same engine for dynasty mode in the game.
