All you might have to do is drop a player from your roster to the free agents, pick up the superstar thats in the free agents, trade the superstar for a IR scrub on the team that you want to put him back on, drop the scrub to the free agents and resign the guy you droped at first.

Wash, Rinse and repeat.

It really does'nt bother me extremly because I have never in the history of sports video game(besides football) played over 1 season. I'd be lucky to finish the playoffs. I can understand this might piss alot of ppl off.

But I think there might be some way around this we just have'nt figured out yet. Something that might be tedious, but worth it.

It really does'nt bother me extremly because I have never in the history of sports video game(besides football) played over 1 season. I'd be lucky to finish the playoffs. I can understand this might piss alot of ppl off.

But I think there might be some way around this we just have'nt figured out yet. Something that might be tedious, but worth it.

wow, I'll still probably rent this (wasn't planning on buying it) but i'm just amazed at this issue. Hopefully there will be a fix, because I don't know about you guys, but I'd get annoyed each offseason if I had to go through and make all those trades. Well, I want to check out the gameplay at least, that's what really matters.

I don't normally finish seasons either, except in football, but lately I sim games here and there to make it so I can finish some seasons...there's no way I'd actually play through all 82 games or whatever, not enough time

Um, wasn't this same problem there in the last few NBA Live games? If this is the same thing that happened previously, your team will be SO far over the cap anyway that you won't even be able to sign the top players and can only build your team through the draft. Doesn't sound any different to me.

some people (like myself) like to sim games as well as play them, so you get to see players progress through there careers, and turn scrub teams into champions. (over multiple seasons)

and the FA period is probably the single most important feature in a franchise mode. and for it to be this flawed, is completely un excusable.

i was looking forward to picking this title up once the local gamestop opened this morning...but now after hearing the news, i'll rent it when blockbuster gets it in, and a few days later purchase espn nba(baring no major bugs like live'04)
