Ive been a nba2ker for the last four years, I mean ive be a real hardcore Sega fan of there Basketball series since the dreamcast. My story, I bought ESPN basketball last week been playing it and I did like it, but somthing seem missing dont know what it was but somthing just didnt seem right. So yesterday I went to my local EBgames to pick up Rainbow six (great game) and I saw LIVE playing on the screen and I was like let me give it a shot cause I havent played it yet, man after playing the game for a HALF HOUR in the store, guys Isaid plaing it for a HALF hour in the store I finally found out what was missing after all, it was me having this great game of basketball. I cant belive how much more I liked LIVE better then ESPN BB I was shocked about how much better the game played.
The grapichs arent bad at all in fact they look pretty damn good, The courts looked better then ESPN IMO. So as I played I said wow I havent played LIVE since LIVE98 years agao what a differnce EA did this year. I was really sadden that ESPN didnt play as good as LIVE does this year cause I really loved the 2K seriers. I would like to welcome back NBA LIVE into my life cause its a great game. So I went to the store today gave back ESPN and got LIVE, I know I will be happier. The one thing that I notice that was alot better besides gameplay was the atmosphere they did a hell of a job with MARV/MIKE and the crowds sound so good, DEFENCE DEFENCE thats the $hit I like to hear. The crowds in ESPN were so dead that it sounded like I muted them, and I only heard the defence chant only in the fouth quater and maybe heard it twice
dont game developers know that atmosphere is so important now a days. Well anyways I think the LIVE is better this year by a little more then a hair, the gameplay just feels so good to play. Well thats
