Okay I Got Both ESPN and Live and here's my tTake....

So far, I like em both. Need more time to decide which is better. Live is damn fun. However, these are the issues I've noted in my limited play:

    1. Post Game: Live does not have a better post game. The reason is because with shaq, I can back anyone down and dunk it home on every attempt. Every freakin attempt. That's not realistic. In ESPN, Shaq backs down players in the post, but he can't dunk it over them at will. Not to say this doesn't make it fun to dunk over someone after backing them down in Live. Just not realistic.

    2. Crowded Court: Live definitely has too much crowding. I always feel as if there's not enough room to play, making it feel like a half court game.

That said, let me say the announcing is better than ESPN, the pick-up fun factor is more evident and the 10 man Mo Cap is awesome. So far, I'm loving it. I'll let you all know what I think after more play time.

First off you said that in Live Shaq can dunk over anyone at will, and In ESPN that he cant so you think that ESPN is more real. I say, you gotta be kidding me right, LIVE is more real cause the last time I checked SHAQ could and always will dunk over anyone at will . Secondly you must play ESPN again, cause the last time I played ESPN I couldn't even back Jason Kidd down with Shaq, now thats not real at all. Get the facts straight.

Only thing I agree with is the court being a tad bit to small. Ethier that or the players to big.

I thought this too until I played at the Press Box camera angle last night. It was a little awkward at first, but as I got used to it, it made the game that much better. I could see the whole floor, and I could see plays develop. I think the whole problem is simply the perspective of the camera angle. I think most people prefer either the Baseline or Sideline camera. Try out Press Box. The floor will seem much bigger in relation to the players.

BTW, I think the post game in Live is sweet. You have to remember, posting up isn't all about backing down your defender. That's not the only moves you have. Posting up is all about footwork, and getting your defender off balance, or to get him to bite on a fake. I think Live does this beautifully. Catch the ball with Duncan, turn and square up, then pivot your back to him, then ball fake, then turn and face, then shoot the jumper. Next time, back down one dribble and spin. Next time pivot baseline fake shot, then drive. You have tons of moves on the box, and it's the element of using great footwork that makes Live's post game fun to use.

best argument for Live's post game that I've read. maybe they should take away the ease of backing people down to force people to use all of those more realistic options.
