The first being the CPU flat out refusal to take a mid range shot. I have drop all of the CPU's sliders that effect shoot except mid range shooting and the cpu still will not take a mid range jumper early in the shot clock. You have give him a nice space when he is inside the 3pt line, he will not shoot a mid range shot. He will 1. dribble around clueless 2. back up and shoot a "three" 3. pro hop in to your chest while you skate backwards.
Then there is the 3 Point line. As long as the CPU has a pixel on the line it count as a three when he sinks it. This has been a problem since at least 2001, you figure they could fix it by now.
Next up is the 5 second rule. Anything thrown up with 5 or less seconds on the clock has too high a chance of making it. It is almost automatic. This works for both the user and CPU, but it is just more evident when the CPU does it time after time. I have had Shaq bury 2 three pointers in a game on Yao. I have had Nash throw up a leaning, fading 3 on me, and watch it hit nothing but net.
There are a few other that get to me when I am playing, but these are slowly sucking the joy out of the game. Hopefully next year they will put in tendency sliders that will help remove these problems, but for now I have to "imaging" myself playing a great game of basketball on a good basketball game.
