In "theory", this should be the year EA would try to get back in the market by undercutting the price point (19.99). But I dont think they are in the financial situation to attempt that gamble. So i really have no idea what they are going to do

Nothing else to say to you sir lmao
Actually it's people like you that allow EA to release these updated rosters. I've read a couple of your posts, and dude you need to know the facts. The facts are sports games need some form of cananimation a game that is truly physics base will conflict with the animations already in the game. Elite which was suppose to have true physics had cananimations, when the defender would suck into ball handler, that isn't physics. When you go into the post, that is a two player animation. Every video game needs some sort of cananimation.A Physics engine does not fix most gameplay issues. a physics engine isn't truly needed to represent physics and 2k13 from what I've heard is going to show that. NFL 2k and APF 2k8 had physics, through animations. Again video games, especially sports games need some type of two player animations. The game has to take into account ratings and the situation and determine a appropriate animation as the result. When I play 2k, I get a play that was expected. That is what separates live from 2k, they may use a similar formula but the results are realistic on 2k's part.

Live issues are not the lack of technology. Madden 13 has the newest tech, yet they still can't get the O/D line interactions down, something APF 2k8 had down pat. New tech is suppose to create new gameplay mechanics or elements. They rarely solve a gameplay solution that it's predecessor couldn't solve without it (because new tech usually means new problems). EA gameplay problems are all programming issues, the devs have been making bad games bottom line. When Mike Wang came in he help create one of the greatest Basketball games in live 10. I don't have to explain what happened when he left. You are acting really sensitive and attacking other posters is just taking the focus off of the product which is live 13.

We all want two great basketball games, but you live guys need to have standards, and stop letting EA release ish like this. I'm in the 2k forums all the time, most of the threads in there are complaining threads, because we have a standard which we expect 2k to meet. From what I've seen in here the majority of you want things that aren't gameplay related or your just hoping the game is playable. At this point it shouldn't be live vs 2k anymore, it should be EA showing they can release a quality product. When a team is getting blown out, they don't start shooting halfcourt shots or just walk to the locker room because the lead is too big, they don't just fold like that. Right now EA is getting blown out by 30 and needs to show they have the heart to compete.

Two-player animations are becoming a thing of the past. What most games are doing now is animating each character in the interaction separately. It makes everything much more dynamic without the need for RTP.

All two player animations aren't worthless though, he's right

Some are completely appropriate because its completely impossible to get some real life interaction without it
