This is what scares me the most. They want to be innovative but they dont often put that innovation in established engines or frameworks. Now lets say they are able to make a playable basketball game, ideally they should use the same engine to start the next generation and then add other things to continue making a quality basketball game. What they shouldnt do it start over again with a new "innovative" engine that takes 5 years to get up to what we have now (or in Live's case, the PS2/Xbox era)

Re: NBA Live 13 strategy fail or smart?
Anything the NBA Live devs say they can outdo NBA 2K dev in the NBA 2K team says they will improve in that area. For example: passing NBA Live was trying to target NBA 2K's weakpoints like passing but it was known that NBA 2K13 passing has improved. It seems like both NBA games will have something collision based.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Before they want to be more innovative I suggest they get the basketball fundamentals right first.NBAComment

How stupid would I be to let them distract me with something as minute as passing when they can't even make a freaking game?
They need to stop talking about 2k and worry about their own issues

Re: NBA Live 13 strategy fail or smart?
I really wanna believe EA is gonna bring something good this year, we need competition above everything else...but i'm so tired of them. They don't show us nothing, hell I asked everyone on twitter about news, devs & advisory council people, nobody answered me. That shows their lack of respect for us fans.Hope is lost. Faith is broken. A fire will rise.Comment

You tap danced around that question so hard Gregory Hines would be proud
Graphical dominance?
Hows about making a basketball game that doesn't fail to launch first

I agree that's what they're going to try to do which is exactly why they will fail. This is what they have doing for the past 6 years on the next gen consolesComment

They Tyson Chandler pic from E3 looked great...until they put him in the post and he spazzed out and warped to a different spot according to those who were there.Comment
