Ea will never change something unless people complain about it and everytime somebody complains about the cheating computer, people always say that in the nba people make runs. The difference is that in the nba there isn't a computer that can all of a sudden speed up and magically get the ball or something crazy like that.

Although I do agree that some of the things that occur in NBA Live are annoying as heck and need to be change, I know for a fact that you can do everything that the computer does in this game.
I play online most of the time. Playing the computer is just to easy. I don't care what level you put the game on, what sliders(bar putting all my shooting sliders to 0) I will hand the cpu a nice wupp'in.
But all those cheap thing you see the computer doing, players online do them as well. I am about to stop playing the game all together because uncommon plays and shot are become higher percentage shots than normal ones.
If you take the time to you can learn how to make buckets out of a tie up(one, two heave) with too great an accuracy rate. Even being tied up out pass the 3 point line. There is also those darn hot spot for certain player. Hell I could list quit a few cheap moves that I see player using online.
I think I will start a topic called cheap moves and list the ones I know.

I've pretty much came to decision that I won't buy anymore NBA Live's until they fix the cheating problems and make it more 'sim' again like 2000. Every year from 95 to 2000 the game got better and better. Now it's getting worse and worse (unfortunately, so has Sega's game too). Microsoft seems to be the only one who's able to make a good bball game anymore (well, besides college hoops).

I can get them with much slower guys such as Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin, Bostjan freakin Nachbar. Surely if I can get a couple fast breaks with Mr. Nachbar, y'all can get some with AI.

I think you've missed the point. It's not an issue of not getting any fastbreaks. Shawn Bradley should NEVER catch up to AI on a break...

Well, you're right, I wasn't trying to justify Shawn Bradley catching up, I'm just trying to help out...... if I'm not helping, oh well. I tried.....

But the passing timing thing does help. But yeah, you're right, AI should not be caught from behind by Shawn Bradley.....

I completely agree. Games will always be flawed, but that doesn't mean people can't vent their frustrations out on here, something a lot of people on these boards have a serious problem with. I don't understand why people become so offended that there is a bug in the game they enjoy. If they enjoy it, who gives a [censored you naughty boy] what anybody else thinks. In the mean time the bug's there, deal with it like the rest of us. Some of us will live with it, some of us will bitch about it, some of us may even trade the game in. This doesn't change the fact that it is unacceptable and shouldn't be in the game in the first place and that EA should know that people are unhappy with it. Last year's Sega titles were buggy as [censored you naughty boy], but after a lot of criticism everything I've read this year has indicated they've come along way for 2004.

Lately the game has been really good to me. I haven't become overly frustrated with the game in a season and a half. I haven't seen any rediculous comebacks, or any new unexpected situations occur. Part of the problem initially for me was watching some of the crazy things happening in the game after being so used to Sega's titles from last year.
