Re: EA - watching the computer go NUCLEAR late in the game is getting old

I think we lose focus of the fact that these are games we play. We all have a certain level of relaxation and enjoyment we feel when playing these games. I truly believe some of you need to lighten up on the conspiracy theories of cheating ai and ea does not care. The main alternative you have is not to purchase the product. I read these posts and I assume that most people still enjoy playing this game despite its shortcomings. Is the game perfect? No, it is not. It is one of the best b-ball games EA has produced and also one of the best this year. If your frustration continues, stop playing the game and get something else. I believe it is more effective to go to the Wishlist thread and jot down what would make next year better.

This is not a bash on anyone in this forum. I just think too much time is spent on downing the company or the game. Either continue playing the game you have or switch to a better product.

I totally agree with your post. I do not have any problems with late game shooting by the CPU. I go on as many runs as the computer does.

Hey I got an idea, this will help all the complainers out for 2005. When the game comes out, INSTEAD of BUYING IT....RENT IT! I'm pretty sure 3 or 4 dollars won't hurt your pockets. Or better yet, i'm pretty sure you'll have a friend that will go out and buy it anyways because they will have ENJOYED 2004 so much. Ask them if you can borrow, play, preview the game for alittle while.

Once you find more flaws that will be in 2005 you can give it back to your friend or the RENTAL STORE, you will have only come out of 3 or 4 bucks, and then you can come here and vent your fustrations for 2006, and everyone will be HAPPY

P.S. Thank God for the wishlist thread

You've still completely missed the boat on this one. People aren't saying the game is crap or not worth playing. They're just venting their frustrations after some very unusual and questionable play by the AI, which they have every right to do. It sounds like you'd like a communist reign here where ONLY positive comments are aloud. You need to step outside your box and realize that negative comments can and will be made about it.

The exact same could be said for those of you complaining about these threads. You have 2 options. Read it or don't. If it bothers you that much, don't. That certainly makes a lot more sense than having people who otherwise enjoy the game return it because a couple people on the internet are upset they criticised it...

Personally I see absolutely nothing wrong with threads like these so long as the person isn't posting for the sake of trolling, which this post clearly isn't. You may disagree with their opinions, but that doesn't mean they don't have the right to express them.
