How many 3 year plans have we been on? Is this serious or a parody? They must really think we are idiots.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 10-18-2013, 10:09 PM.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
HE SAID TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN LIKE MADDEN.
Yea, because no other NFL game can be made dude. Madden is a steaming pile of lazy, robotic, unimaginative CRAP. And Live seems poised to follow that mold. How do you basically come out with Live 10 a horrible coat and paint on top of it and new "dribble" physics... EA your guys really don't get it.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
make it clear that we’re focused on nothing but next generation, whether it be the NBA stars that we work with or just the consoles in general—we are only on PS4 and Xbox One this November—and really laying the foundation for what we kind of view internally as a 2-3 year journey where we hopefully will, at that time, get back on top of the mountain in a similar fashion to our Madden series, our FIFA series, our golf series, UFC
1. How does parading around a bunch of NBA players show us you're dedicated to creating a better product?! How in the HELL does that have anything to do with quality work?
2. The rest of you already hit on the 2-3 year plan thing again. I'm actually OK with those kinds of plans, but coming from EA? Not so OK.
3. The statement that REALLY pisses me off: "get back on top of the mountain in a similar fashion to our Madden series, our FIFA series, our golf series, UFC". You ****ing *******s BOUGHT your way to the "top of the mountain" by shutting out competition. So the rest of you twerps sitting in here talking about you're going to support EA (not Live, but *EA*) because you want to see competition? FOH! You're supporting the company that has violated the thing you hold most dear more than every other company COMBINED!!! You're an idiot of that's your reasoning.
To me, this is not a crack at Live and the dev. team. This is aimed at that company. I have NO respect for them at all. Why does this bother me? I LOVED how NFL 2K made Madden step up it's game. I LOVE how Lameday did the same before that time. Since the NFL deal, Madden hasn't gone to **** necessarily, but they sure as hell have not done enough to reflect 8 to 9 years of unabated resources to make a greater game. That quote above encapsulated EVERYTHING that I hate about how EA does business.
I'm pretty sure most of you don't care. Why should you. I just had to vent. I'm seeing red.Last edited by Boilerbuzz; 10-18-2013, 11:05 PM.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
For me, that's EXACTLY what it means. He may not have meant it, but it's clear they truly don't believe that the snatching up of exclusive licenses doesn't matter. As long as their pockets are full, they are cool with whatever they need to do to reach the top.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
They don't care. They know and they don't care. As long as you hand over your cash, why should they. That's ALL that matter. Because you opinion doesn't matter unless it affects sales. That's the cold hard fact.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
I'll see what they working with in three years then. I would think their goals would be a bit more ambitious with their first release in so many years. Not sure why they get are getting a pass from so many folks, but that pass isn't worth $60 from my pocket.Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
Sure it is? It outsells it's nearest competitor by a factor greater than a million! 7 million over zero is pretty big number, right?Comment

Re: New Live 14 Interview
Seriously? Another 3 year plan? You'd think they'd wanna come out firing after being gone for so long. SMH.Comment
