Re: Nba live - no player editing confirmed

If Nba Live does not have in game injuries in their game, then they need to strip the word authenticity from their game. Injuries are apart of every sport, and to take that away is very unrealistic in my opinion.

This is an awesome analogy. Good job!

Look, if it's true, maybe it can be patched in. I would assume it can be. With that said, one thing I love about sims is the risk of injuries. I will wait for an official confirmation.

So, basically, don't play your games and you won't have injuries. This is great if you don't like injuries. Kills the balance of dynasty mode IMO.

On topic: wow, I was so hyped now the player editing thing, that stinks. I wanna know if Create a Player is in Live. Not gonna really change my now disappointed feeling, but if Gameface is implemented, I'll be a little happier, but that's like placing a band-aid on a gun shot wound.

I expect CAP to be in and nice considering they didn't seem to change their player model tech. But no Gameface.

Injuries should always have an ON/OFF option in sports games.

              That's absolutely inexcusable.

Where is OG to answer to some of this? Feel like this was him on Thursday after this new dropped:

                  Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Yea, don't get me wrong I'm hoping Live puts forth a good product but the subjectivity of some dudes on here is crazy. They come on the Live forums and take everything at face value and dismiss any downfalls that it may have but then I see these same folks going to the 2k forums second guessing anything they say and finding faults in the best of features. No offense to Live but it's like they think 2k were the ones that have been gone for 3 years and can't be trusted. It's *** backwards.

No ingame injuries just made my decision to stay with NBA2k. EA pulled this BS the last time they made a basketball game, an dpeople complained, but obviously they didnt learn anything as usual. Then not ot let people edit players in their own Association mode isnt right either, but I will say if they have ratings right thats not to big of deal, but no ingame injuries is a DEAL BREAKER, and they will never get my money without in-game injuries, simple as that.

                        Come on EA!
I don't think it's difficult to put the in-game injury in this game.
It's a long time for me to not have the in-game injury.
It must be top5 priority in next live title or you may lose more gamers!

I'm sure dealing with injuries isn't simple. Time better spent on the core gameplay I would say.

It wasn't in the last title and 3 yrs later it's not in this one. What the hell have they been doing??

I'm telling this game is really "Stripped Down" and I honestly believe they don't want us to figure it out before release just how Bare-bones this game really is.

Not gonna lie. I personally hate in game injuries. This is good news for me. Now all I wanna know is if I can create a player outside of rising star mode.

they never said it wasn't barebones. if anything, they hinted that it was. This is yr 1, aka laying down the foundation, aka barebones. Just marketing words to make you want to check out the game.
