Are anybody else experiencing that the CPU is defender is overplaying on one side? And they overplay it to the middle, not the baseline. Happening way to much. Hope they'll adjust that.

what team are you playing and what do they have their coaching strategy set at for defending on the ball? maybe they forcing you one way etc?

Coaching sliders will effect the way they play you. Come teams force you to the weak hand, some will force you baseline, some will force you to the middle. These coaching sliders do what there's supposed to do. All teams will play differently.

I wish the MIA Heat would trap P&R's...it's a hard defense to mimic in a video game period, but it'd be cool...

You technically can but it doesn't quite mimic the real thing....like I said it'd be hard to recreate it in a video game...as far as AI anyway....

I haven't seen the CPU do it that much but I am finding that doing it my self is very effective at cutting down points in the paint and creating physicality in the paint. Sending the ball handler or post player toward the baseline and using the backboard as a help defender has really stepped up my D the last two games I've played. I can usually force the CPU into an easy to stop reverse layup or cut their path off when they try to go back to the middle of the floor. I'm seeing a lot more mid range jumpers from the CPU and drive and kicks.

I also just discovered something I don't like, the euro-step is a canned move (at least that's what I'd call it). All along I thought I was choosing to shoot at the end of it but now I find out that it shoots regardless if I hit the shoot button or not. I guess it's not that big of a deal but I'd prefer the shot be up to me.

just blew a 17 point 4th quarter lead. i hit a game tying 19 footer with Irving at the buzzer. blew a 6pt OT lead and Williams hit a buzzer beater to force a 2nd OT. Irving fouled out with 2:02 left in 2nd OT. held on late!

whew..

what a game! best game of basketball ive played since NBA Live 96 (dont ask, bad memories LOL)..

i'm primarley playing ultimate team. i've set it on defend weak hand on every team in the coach settings. But dose that transit to the CPU defense doing it on me?

yeah okay, but i feel its extremely easy to beat every time, regardless of what direction they are trying to force me in.

Alright just beat the pistons with the wizards. Extremely satisfying win. Finally learning how to play better d. Comp only had 50 pts in the paint. Huge improvement.

Okay after playing for 19 hours of BB since I got it...I hate this game so much...

Defense is broken, nobody on your team has any ball awareness when it comes to loose balls, rebounding, etc.

People just move out the paint, when the CPU drives or passes on the inside..there is no lock down defense or anything.

Commentary bores the hell out of me........

Xbox One version still has outdated rosters and lineups, all player accessories are wrong, etc.

Playcalling is sloppy during gameplay.

Halftime is way too damn long...

on a good note the pace and court spacing is great!

Menu's and options are great, etc..soundtrack is amazing...

Really? That is very poor. I have a PS4, but I presumed rosters would be updated at the same time. They really need to start communicating these things. Madden gets a detailed roster update AND notes.

I have bought the full game. The demo didn't impress me, but I do like the full version more due to the ability to customise. The coach settings are great. I'll post some extensive impressions in a few days time.
