perhaps you didnt bother to read the title of thread, it's not things you noticed about live, it's things you notice about the beta vids. First off a mid-range game consists of more than just take one dribble inside the 3 pt line and put it up with a hand in your face. It's also running through screens to get that open 18 footer i saw none of that. It's also creating space to take a more open mid-range shot. Anyone wanna tell me where the mid-range game is at clip 12 mem vs twolves i think. It's pathetic 50 sec mark, cassel cant even bring the ball up past half court. Clip 15 wheres the MR shot?? I could go on but I won't. YOu wont ever hear a commentator talk about the lost art of the mid range jumper afters someone puts in a 15 footer with 2 people up in his face.

You can call if b-tching if you want. But EA Sports is the Michael Jordan of Sports video gaming. They know what we want cuz we tell them every year. They do deliver a quality product but there is no excuse for not improving the two main things most gamers asked for. Which was

1. Mid Range Game.... we need one!!!!
2. Fast break catch up/flow of the game

I haven't played the game yet and I hope to God the vids aren't good examples of how it will play 2 player or 1 player vs. PC. I loved Live last year but there were some things that made me want to throw my PS2 out the window. Now I have a brand new Xbox and I don't want to throw it out the window. I want to enjoy playing a great bball sim. I am not claiming that I am 100% sure the vids represent the actual gameplay. But if they do, I am gonna be pissed off.

Screw the dunk contest and all the other extras. Give us a 100% solid game... with no petty problems that could be fixed. That is all I ask.

With that said, I hope EA has delivered the uncut dopeness to us... I really do. Nothing would make me happier than coming home tomorrow and having to replay every other play cuz of how ill it looks. Nothing would make me happier than having my jaw drop every 20 seconds from all of the realism and detail. But based on the vids and the IGN review, I doubt that will happen.

However, I have no doubt I'll be at least satisfied for the most part.

It's not about declaring the game broken b/c you realize it's not there. It's about doing so BEFORE YOU HAVE EVEN PLAYED THE GAME.

I still don't see "true" fastbreaks in this game. The vids of 2k5 from ign showed some nice 3 on 1 breaks off of t/o and long rebounds.

With that said, nobody has judged the game yet. Why are ppl complaining about complaints? No one has said that live sucked, they are'nt getting Live or that ESPN is better so why is everyone at such an uproar.

If I see no real fastbreaks based from the vids and I'm wrong, why cant someone correct me without going on a tirade. Its that simple. Its just a discussion and based off the title of the thread, most of you should know better.

most of the time the fastbreak button makes them turn around to receive the pass. that and the direct icon passing.

ur quote i way off base........jordan plays like jordan.....and kobe plays like jordan......how can the G.O.A.T. play like any1 else???....well...back to the question at hand.....i've noticed that the ratings need fixin, they look like they avoiding the big man/post up game, and the tempo just looks a lil too fast....but other than that it looks aight....oh yeah and the dive for the ball animation does look like it could be trouble......and this is coming from an NBA2k(whatever) fan......its not a bad game but its missing 1 thing.... multi player dynasty
