The developers get these sports games into the market at around 80% quality and balance-wise...Us internet hardcores take it from there. Any problem that can be fixed, tweaked, adjusted or edited...aint really a problem.

Never complain until you've tweaked all you can tweak.

It really is, because its a waste of my time. I develop software, and there is no excuse. We all have deadlines, but an 80% product is still 20% unfinished. Stop making excuses and trying to make this game better than it is. There are still problems and balance issues with this game. Maybe you dont notice them, but I do. You shouldnt need sliders. I am not a beta tester. I just lied. I am a beta tester and EA should be paying me. Adjusting Sliders just causes other balance issues with the game. I play a game and I would like to enjoy it. Ive yet to start a franchise and I will probably never finish a season because Ill find more things wrong with this game. It happens every year. Im better off just sticking to playing other people. Trying to get the cpu to play realistically is a waste in these games. The AI just isnt there yet.

My opinoun about the spin is somethin like this, that crap is impossible to stop without touchin the sliders and thats a shame. I think you should never have to touch sliders if the game is correctly made. To me if have to touch the sliders the game isnt right simple as that. Dont get me wrong i like live not as much as espn but its a good game. Not tryin to start a argument or nothin but for the people that have espn and live you must admit espn is a much smoother game than live. Live doesnt run smooth to me even though its a great game[and the dunk contest is hot]. Like chris boshes blocks are only 38 horrible thats what you think he got a block each time i came to his whole and chris mihm had 8 blocks on me in two quarters amazin is he shaq or chris mihm sombody tell me. And let me tell you about Rafer Alston AKA Larry bird in live. Me and my friends play on superstar and i double team him and he still gets 18 threes with great defense now is this a street legent or a NBA legend somebody tell me. Well thats all i gots to say not tryin to complain or somethin because once again dont get me wrong live is a good game, but those major flaws make me wanna kill somebody.

Don't be silly man...the game can't possibly be balanced perfectly for the entire 3 million different skill levels out there. You spent what..OMG 2 whole seconds (Oh, what a huge chunk of your lifespan), changing a simple slider and your view of the gaming experience improved.

You started this thread like "OH I can't deal with this any more, blah, blah, blah...then came in like...OH..wow...uhhhh...after a simple, minor adjustment...now I like it again...LOL. If thats such a huge "waste of your time"...I would probably stop playing sportsgames....like right. Now.

It prolly took you more time to type the complaint than it took to fix it...Think about that.

Yes this instance that was the case. And you are probably right. Its no big deal. Its a game and it should be fun. Ive been doing this for too long though. I reacted that way for a reason. You have to admit seeing Larry Bird get blocked by James every time was a little funny. The reason I react this way is because Ive wasted years doing this. Not a few minutes.. Like I said the game may be fixed for the next few days, but Ill probably be back. Ive been going back and forth between espn and live so far trying to fix various problems for 2 weeks now. I still have slowdown problems. Im not sure how to fix that except tear apart my xbox which isnt happening. I refuse to do anything hardware wise with console games. At least Im not a PC gamer any more. That used to be 10 times worse. You have to draw the line somewhere is all im saying. And you are probably right. I should probably just stop buying these games. Which is too bad. Ive wasted enough time and spent way too much money trying to get these games to work right. The money part isnt an issue. Its the time I spend doing this that bugs me. Even if its a few minutes. I deserve a game that works great right out of the box. It has yet to happen. And even with tweaking these games still never work right.

Every game got problems thats what we gots to understand until the year 2010 we need stop getting mad over glitches or flaws in a game Until technology has reached its peak we need stop cryin cause if you think about it i bet i can point a problem for each and every game in the world. And yes Splinter Cell has problems cause it was never a perfect 10. O sorry for gettin off topic once again Live has its flaws and espn does too but espn just runs smoother. And big ups to the dunk contest

I've seen tons of people say that ESPN runs smoother, but I'm not seeing a slowdown of any kind of my xbox and I think it runs 30% smoother than ESPN, just after 5 games of playing Live. I don't know though. Maybe I'll change, but right now Live is looking good in my eyes.
