NDA remains, as it's a work in progress.

I do feel like they made the right decision, but not Gameplay wise. I think a lot of guys would have been happy with the Gameplay. Just better to offer a complete experience IMHO.

Man..... WTF, I just gotta know.... aren't you sick of drinking EA's Kool-aid???? This is the third game that they have done this to me on and this is it... last straw for me. I'm fed up,with them as a company and as a consumer I'll let my wallet now do the talking. You sat here in this forum Championing for them and then they do this..... don't you feel like you got a little mud in your eye. I know you'll probably do what ever it takes to save face with EA but come on man, you gotta be a little pissed???

I've been beliving the whole EA it's in the game speel since Lakers vs. Celtics....I've been loyal from the start...... but now I've had it. Sorry for going off but I'm done. I'm curious to hear your thoughts since you had inside info and as I mentioned you defended them a lot in this forum.... tell us what you feel man...I could care less about what you saw (you sold it as awesome but clearly in EA's eyes it wasnt) so tell us how you feel about their decision to pull the plug on a good game...according to you.

I'm definitely not saying that the entire game was awesome, and ready for release. There were the new parts that I was really excited about. I was anxious to see the reaction from the community, and see what you all thought about it.

The mid-season release plan, I wasn't behind, and talked to some of the devs and other game changers about that. A lot of us old heads were of the same mindset, ultimately, we don't have the pull or clout to change those decisions, haha.

I know that they can't release info on the new improvements this early on, and suspect that's part of the reason that the version they were going to release was scrapped. Myself, I've always been a proponent of launching a full fledged title with full features that we've come to expect. Launching something else, and showing your hand with your new features and Gameplay enhancements ultimately means that the competition still has a good 5-6 months until the next title drops to come up with their own version of said improvements.

I don't like having mud on my face, absolutely not. Do I think it's the right idea for the title? Absolutely. Am I jaded on how things have unfolded, absolutely. I don't like being the face of such a community, and vouching for the game coming out to you all based on internal knowledge. With the "We'll have something new and exciting in Q1 of 2017" canned answer, and discussions during my face time with the crew, we were given no clue that this was not the case.

I had came to grips that their plans were full steam ahead, even though I didn't believe it was the right decision in the first place. But I also don't feel like consumers should be led on. If there was any chance of it not getting a release, I feel they never should have had their Q1 release strategy, should have just kept things under wraps until it was 100% certain.

Ultimately again, I think the right decision was made, but I don't agree with how they made it, and don't like having the egg on my face.

No disrespect at all man. I get it. Nobody deserves to be strung along. At this point, all everyone can do is wait and check it out for themselves when it releases.

My faith in the Live Development team is at an All time Low. They have been given feedback for 3 years and still fail to listen to the Community. I mean STILL no Roster update for Live 16, when you have fan base asking for it. They had a little momentum with Live 16, but now have abandoned their only game on the market.

Until they get some guys on the Development team who want a true basketball experience for their fan base Live will continue to flop. What i mean by that is they need to give Users the ability to Edit/Create players, ability to make trades, play a franchise mode. These are Core things that need to be in any potential successful basketball video game. Just seems like their vision is not focused on ANY of those areas.

So I'm assuming the "drive to NBA live" was a real thing and that was gonna be released soon but only be a particular game mode and a full title would be released in the fall.

I'm all down for them not releasing anything half baked, but going head to head with 2k is certainly not the answer in my opinion. No matter how down people are on 2k, it's kinda got that call of duty like reputation and buying 2k is a reflex at this point. I'm afraid NBA live even if it's good will end up like titanfall 2, which is a great game, but it didn't sell well because it was cannibalized by ea battlefield and coming out a week before cod.

You would hope by now they would buddy. When higher ups come out and make the statement about how "FUN" the game is, that worries me even more. I mean IF they thought the version that was being created now would have made them some $$$, i cant see them not releasing some type of game to build the Hype for the MAIN game in the fall.

I hate the fact they continue to hang all the GameChangers and others who they get to communicate with the fan base out to dry. They get you guys to put out all the hype then continue to not follow thru with the Hype and Promises they tell you all is coming.

I stopped giving feedback to the DEVs after I realized they were gonna do what they wanted no matter what I provided. I think i discussed that with you before.
