I'm absolutely pre-ordering the game for day one on PS4 Pro for $40. Plus, on top of that I'll buy another copy in November for Xbox One X. Live 18's tempo of gameplay can be played either way (fast or slow). That's just something I could never replicate on 2K.

The game has its flaws and some legacy issues from 16 but it's fun as hell and addicting to play. I was pre-ordering from the moment they announced the game but you can't beat $39.99 especially if you have Amazon Prime or Best Buy Gamers Club to take advantage of the 20% discount. This game would be the same price as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (I highly recommend, one of the best games of the year).

Hell naw. Once people learn the controls the cheese will Madden 08 levels. I like my sanity. the animations completely ruins this game. Can u charge someone outside the paint?

For $40 ?? I’ll for sure take the leap and make the purchase. I’m having a blast with the demo, and I actually want to continue playing The One.

Two basketball games in my collection this year will only be good for me

Definitely leaning towards buying, but am I crazy or am I the only one that's super bummed out by the Stephen A. Smith thing. Maybe I'm just a ***** but the guy is just a real life internet troll and I instantly change the channel if I ever see him on TV. I don't want anyone at EA to ever think this was a good idea. Liked the demo and love the price point but I really hate that guy.

I believe in the other thread they said it should be skippable in the full game.

I'm personally gonna buy it this year, its just a matter of when.

I need to learn more about the game in terms of modes. How their franchise mode is, if the one will continue to have single player aspects and not force me online. I love edit mode but if the actual game modes are solid, I guess I can look past it.

Have had a lot of fun with the demo. Was less impressed with Live 16.

The release week is a busy week for me in terms of games as a lot I play come out in and around then, so it has to really be good overall for me to get at launch, otherwise later in the year for sure.

I like some aspects of the game but after playing a real game against the Warriors I can say that I don't like how the game plays outside of the Streets/Pro am. So no I won't be buying.

This is where I'm at. Honestly, I wanted to load Live up and be able to completely hate the game. But there are some really good parts and kudos to EA for getting there.
