I had to download the update manually on my XB1. Even going to manage game, it never showed the update. I had to go to games and apps, then to updates, then select the demo from there to download it.

M$ needs to fix some of the issues with updates. I should be able to see the update from either screen.

Yea I got them a little bit ago. I would say do a hard reboot, then go into your settings and make sure that update games automatically is enabled, then check for the update under games and apps (not under manage game or the game hub). I'm in Ohio, so time zone shouldn't be an issue.

Alrighty the new teams helped clear up some things. I was in fear that all teams would play the same or very similar but nope. Houston feels like Houston and Boston feels like Boston.

Horford is a beast on the low block and can hit some jumpers. Team still can't rebound and not much defense.

Certain McGee wasn't in the lineup before today but now I can see the difference between the bigs. McGee is always looking for the alley. Capella is great with pick and roll.

James Harden and cp3 play like themselves. The offensive system fits Houston and players don't stop moving.

Only played on all-star so far but will try superstar later.

Damn reverse layups gotta go. It's out of place now and the animation takes forever. Baseline only eat at the least.

Great job EA for doing the DRose hair update. Hope 2K can do the same thing. Too bad too many people are so hyped for 2K18's MyCareer and new teams that's why most likely sales will go to 2K's favor. But if EA released and made their NBA Live 17 installment as good as this and went head to head against 2K17, I'm giving my money to Live. Hope they go and continue to develop. Will buy both games tho.

Appreciate the two teams.

My gameplay impression is still heavily focused on the screen button being not as responsive or better words being not as precise and not as consistent as I would like. This actually hinders my ball movement and passing game. It's not as pretty as I could make it.

If the screen button remains intact as it currently is in this state. It's going to be extremely difficult for me run Live 18 for the entire year. I might preorder the game, but I honestly don't know how much playing time I'll put it. Because of the lack of automatic constant player movement, my ball movement game sort of suffers. I can definitely initiate teammate player movement, but it's simply not as free flowing like the Warriors or San Antonio Spurs ball. There's a finesse to the Warriors/Spurs offense and it's incredibly difficult to execute it with the screen button "lack of consistency response" in its current state.

If only there was a player specific screen button activation, it would make the offense a much more elegant flowing offense. Tap L1, icon above players' head, hold corresponding player icon to have them motion towards me to come set a screen. Or some type of mechanism to get my other teammates to come meet the ball. But even with the addition of this "other" mechanism, the screen button needs to be more responsive and we need to be able to consistently call teammates in the corner (far, far, far away) to come set a screen. The analog stick simply doesn't lock onto the highlighted player and buttons would be far more accurate/precise than the analog stick.

Yes, I've already tried a brand new controller. Same results, same experience.

Side Note: For NBA live 19. I would seriously consider implementing Fifa's change of direction immediate footplant technology.

Its funny seeing the rockets chinanu onuaku shoot underhand free throws. I had some nice step back jumpers and driving layups with harden so far.
