What is it with these hoop games locking down headbands?. Great update by Live team regardless. With tLive already updating NBA player art during the season, 2k's art team better really get it together for 19'...

It is because of the heads' 3D models. As they are unique, they include or not the headband, so it can't be changed. In earlier game versions (00's) they could because every head was basically the same 3D model with a different texture, and on versions from the '10s that allowed this the 3D models were made for both the on/off headband cases but the number of players with those models would be limited or in case every player had that option unlocked sometimes the headband looked terrible because it wasn't designed to "fit" the head shape, but rather work with a general shape and that's it.

That's the explanation as far as I know from my modding days haha

Can players from any franchise team (not just user controlled) be edited in any capacity (even if it is just their gear/shoes and not the attributes)?

I can't find a way to edit the color of accessories by uniform. Does anyone know how or is it not possible?

anyone see if we can do global edits of ratings /attributes like past nba lives and this years nba 2k series?

No global edits. Have to do each individualy.

With this news I am buying NBA Love just to support, the gameplay isn't really where I want it to be personally but additions like this deserve to be acknowledged.

Are cpu trades in franchise mode yet. Without those this is useless. I can't believe they shipped a basketball game in 2017 without cpu trades. Also how many games does it take to fix the broken tip offs.

I'd really like to know this as well. I appreciate the effort but editing the colors to match uniform sets is what I really want.

I don't think it's possible it seems if you change a color it applies to all uniforms which makes it useless in trying to fix accessory colors.
