But seriously if what was shown in that trailer was truly representative of gameplay then Live is going to be a problem. Looks just like those amazing renders they posted with the player ratings.

In all seriousness though, looks amazing graphically. But we still need to see some direct capture gameplay with these updates.

Also would love to see some blogs about gameplay and franchise updates.

I'd love to be part of playtesting or a beta release for this game.

Immediately skeptical seeing that the footage only shows 2 players in a completely black environment. Not going to go as far as to say that it's fake or cg but also not taking it as proof that gameplay visuals will look just as good, like the guy in the video seems to believe.

This looks absolutely astonishing!!! I'm a bit skeptical it's giving me a vibe of the first Live 14 trailer with Kyrie Irving!! I need to see actual in game footage in arenas with actual lighting. Along with needing to hear some news about franchise mode. Live is really loving that court it seems everybody screenshot is from there, the lighting is bananas though.

The only reason I can't be sure is because of the screens for the few players we've seen. It would be very odd to take the time to render out guys like Cousins and DeRozan just for a screenshot.

But, we'll eventually see some gameplay to either confirm our suspicions or blow us away if this is real.

I wonder if the stripped down dark arena allows them to render the players in higher quality, I'm not getting too excited until I see a regular 5 on 5 game.

If these player models really do look like that am in on 19 as well 18 was fun so regardless am in on 19 but would be so much better if it really does look like this......

kinda makes me wonder if user scans will actually look bad in game now compared to these models if so be the case

Those screens were captured in engine and passed to that community manager to send out.

They could've easily took them in regular arenas and zoomed in for the same type of photo.

Listen, I've been crazy critical of Live here recently, but those are taken from the gameplay from the tutorial courts guys. Will it look identical in the arena atmosphere, no, because they're brighter, so the shadowing etc will be different. I'm actually pushing for them to still use this lighting/shading on the players, even though it's not as authentic in a well lit arena, just because it looks so dang good.

Hmm, really looking forward to playing demo. Can't wait to test both games. The end of August/beginning of September is going to be fun
