Ya man passing lanes are tight I like it, game feels like 2k with Live flavor. Getting rid the ankles breaker in the nba side make so much better when it come to playing D. Miss a little to much inside but don’t mind it compared to pre patch, hope they continue going in this sim direction an leave the nba jam pick up and play style away.

They really locked down passing thru the lane. I love it. Gotta start thinking before just hucking it around.

So, is the commentary less stale? i swear if i hear ''hmmmmm, i'm not sure if that's not an offensive foul...'' or ''i can only do that on a 5 foot rim'' i'm going to lose it.


EDIT: Also, how about calling plays? the system had severe issues but i saw a bullet point in which they state motion offense is far better.

Commentary seems better but it’s still not great. I didn’t hear that “5 foot rim” or the “moves of an assassin” lines which was good.

I don’t run plays so I’m not sure if it’s better.

Fouls are definitely increased and I think I will have to turn down the slider. Cpu had 20 free throw attempts by halftime last game. Lol

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, I love that we can edit player in franchise. Next step though, is hopefully they add the ability to edit home and away accessories.

Did it fix the issue of being unable to add traits earned from the demo? My Spicy Dish is silver but I was unable to add it.

Can confirm that this is fixed! Shout out to the Live devs!

SO, played for a bit.

Passing is so much better and realistic. There are a few ''derp'' moments, still, but it is miles better IMO.

2,600 lines? more like zero lines, same old stale commentary, i haven't heard a single new line and there are a ton of dead air moments.

Saw a few really neat near animations, i was playing as the hornets and Marvin Williams fell on the floor going for an offensive rebound, have never seen that before.

Play now is BROKEN.

Playcalling is still mostly useless, FIX IT.

Defense is much improved in Live Run...even as a big I can move my feet and stay with guys better without stumbling all over the place.

Wished they would have nerfed the insta-post steal. Wing scorers are triggering them before I can even bump then initially. I also missed two open dunks. It's great they can now actually happen but they should be limited to situations where guys are dunking in heavy traffic.

I can't pass anymore and neither can my teammates, so many intercepted passes. I have been watching this and it seems like my teammates wait for the ball to get there but the defense is going for the ball on every pass. I mean even short bullet passes to guys 7 feet away are getting picked off. I like that its tighter but it almost feels like they went too far. idk I'm only playing The One in Streets right now so maybe its just the arcade street style that seems so hard to pass in.

Havent played yet but I hate post steals. Cpu mainly gets them on me, not players, but you should not be able to steal before someone puts it on the floor, and you should have to be reacting to a bump. Cuz you know in life you dont just rip people posting up. You gotta like absorb their bump and go thru almost like a pull the chair but with less necessary contact. You can't just steal from people posting up cuz that ruins the whole point of posting up. Even tho post players are worse dribblers than pgs, it's probably harder to get a clean post steal than it is to steal on ball vs a good dribbler because like when you are boxed out, you have no forward motion. You can reach and poke the ball I guess but vs a post center with str doesn't seem like you could get it out of both of their hands. While dribbling tho like I said you have to use their energy and go around them assuming they aren't just unskilled.



People should not be dead in the water while posted but I've yet to play a game where it feels like you actually have control of where the defender can go when you are posted, which is what it's like in real life. I don't think anyone who wasn't a foot taller than me w long arms has ever poked the ball away from me while posting and, again, it was during a bump where they made me lose control for a sec and slid around me.



In summary : if you are not of similar str, all post defense moves should be reactionary. Or just huge gambles like trying to run around someone who can just turn the other way.

Hi all,
I am on Ps4, I had 2 franchise saves.After the update 1.07 my franchise saves are not available from franchise mode.Only available option is to create new franchise.I can see my franchise save files with all the other game save data for nba live 19 from my ps4.I can also copy the files to usb stick but when the game starts the saves are not available
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there sthing that I can do?

I just got done updating and yep, my 20 game Cavs franchise is gone....

I think the missed dunk thing happens when your guy is extremely fatigued but yes they need to tweak it to allow for dunk rating, height, etc. A big dude like my 6'11" rim protector should still be able to dunk even when tired.

With the post-up insta-steal I agree. I don't even bother posting up due to this. It's a steal every time.

This is why I love the LIVE team, they really are showing us what it means to care about there community. kudos to them. I own both games and Live is just my choice. If they can pull off injuries now in franchise mode, this will be brilliant.

They are currently working to rectify this problem. This stems from the use of custom rosters. Load default rosters to temporarily fix this issue.
