Ya so far it’s a huge waste of time.

Basically to summarize every reply has been some witty remark that doesn’t apply to anything other than emojis or using cap locks or the customary “we will look into it” reply.

I don't even see what the point of this AMA even was considering they not answering anything. Might as well just called it a wishlist thread. Out of almost 300 posts, you reply to like 4 of them with some generic emojis and we will look into it ? Come on man......

All I got out of it was a store update next week for you can spend your points on.

That was weak. That just shows how disconnected they are with the fanbase. I just don't see them ever getting good the way they've neglected our ideas.

Talk about disappointment. I tried the 2K20 demo and boy was it underwhelming. NBA Live 19 (gameplay wise) underwhelming as well. Honestly looks like I might just stick to playing 2K19 for the foreseeable future.

I mean they are basically implying they will be supporting 19 into the foreseeable future. That makes no sense if 20 is coming out even anytime before Christmas. They would be completely cannibalizing their market.

Super disappointing. That was probably one of the worst Q and A I've seen in the history of gaming from devs. Like there is no useful information whatsoever, and I'm not feeling good about this team taking charge of an NBA game. They seem so disconnected from the fan base. NBA Live will never be good in my opinion if they keep neglecting the fanbase and rejecting our feedbacks.

Hopefully they completely open. Up the store and make EVERYTHING purchasable. I have like 500k just sitting there.

I still get a Live Run in every once in a while. The fact they are still updating '19 is pretty telling though...

yea I'm sure the same dudes are on there still playing... the same way probably, haha. I'd still play, but I don't feel any need to renew psn because, as I've said before, the few people I've played with have drifted off psn as well, and without a set date for 20, I'm just gonna sit out.


If I had psn I'd still be playing Live tho for sure. I'd play 19.5, too, but I want A. some different version of the game to come out or B. couple of these dudes who I have balled with for 10+ years to come back before I re-up.


Not really interested in Live offline anymore, and if I wanted to do that, I could do it. Considering I can't imagine playing a non-bball game online at the moment, I'm not gonna pay 60 to play Live 19 in August. LETS BE REAL.


It's amazing if Live drops the ball though. Maybe it wasn't selling so well, but it had some hype. Some of us liked it. They needed to find a way to maximize that. If they cancel 20 and don't even do a huge revamp of 19, that's some v v sad stuff.

I don't get a canceled vibe from that tweet, but it doesn't make me think we will see Live 20 this year.

I expect it will go digital only, and possibly free with EA Access. They need to lower costs while they build up the game to where it can actually compete. There is almost nothing they could do to release 2K's stranglehold on sales for this upcoming game. 2K is locked in.

But things change, and the NBA market is worth too much to just give up on. Unlike MLB and Hockey, there are enough sales to just hang on until the landscape changes, if they reel in costs. And EA is huge enough to weather more down years. I suspect 2K would have bought up the NBA license exclusively if the NBA would consider it.

I thin the main thing they have to do is make NBA Live cross platform, full stop. Then put it on PC. Tripling the user base for online play would improve The One experience a lot. Well, it would be tripled from my view, on XB1, but probably not from a PS4 user's perspective.

I am curious to see what they do.

This is the way to go with Live in my opinion too.
