very true YANKEE-- the CPU will do things that you don`t expect it to do. i was playing a game today as the Rockets and i was controlling Francis and dribbling to the left wing a lot so i could pass it down into the post up, Taylor was doing good down low so i felt like i should get the ball to him... but the CPU noticed this and starting going for steals when i would dribble to the wing and the CPU ending up stealing the ball from me a few times.

it does little things like this on the ALL-STAR level. basicly it adjusts to what you`re doing.

ohhh a couple more CONS about ID--

      1. offensive rebounds happen a little too much... you can tell your players to look for more rebounds and this helps but on the default settings it`s kind of a bitch...

      2. their are times when the CPU plays real good and just hits almost everything they put up... i`ve noticed this happens about one out every 4 games. it`s very difficult to beat the CPU when it does this. but in this game you will find that you need to adjust to what the CPU or human opponent is doing or you will get burned. if their knocking down their outside shots you NEED to change your defense or it will keep happoening... i guess this is not really a con but at times it is very difficult to beat the CPU.

also about fouls-- they do call more fouls in season mode! i`ve definitley noticed a difference! but in single game mode they tend to call fewer fouls.

It's that bad. the ball physics after it hits the rim are superb but the arc of the shots are absolutely horrible. Again pretty much all animations and graphics in 2k3 are better, including this. I'd say ID has a good variety of layups and the players move more fluidly b/c they take the EA approach but it takes away from the look and outside of those two things I don't like anything about the "look" of the game.
