What are you expecting to get out of this game anyhow?

Re: NBA Inside Drive 2004 - snubbed from b/c again
I never got the chance to play it, and since I like playing some older b-ball games, it would be great. I've been playing some N64 games lately, Like NBA courtside 1&2 (which are awesome) and NBA in the Zone 99-2000 (not that great), so I'd like to try other (a bit newer) b-ball games. It's never too late...
I never had an Xbox, anyway, so an exclusive Xbox b-ball game gotta be a bit different. And if I'm not mistaken, the Inside Drive guys were hired by 2K to create 2K6...? And I'll probably get NBA Live 2002, which I never had the chance to play either. Oh, and Ghost Recon 2, which I played on the PS2, but is different on the XBOX. And there are some games that I missed because of not having an Xbox, like Far Cry Instincts and other Xbox exclusives.
The only question remaining is how well a used xbox will work...?My Specs:

Im sure the used xbox will be fine
Only Mike Wang left HV and went to 2k. Thats the time the sig stuff started coming out and by the next year we had 2k7 with tendencies and everyone had a sigshot. It was completely unexpected and blew everything else away.Comment

Re: NBA Inside Drive 2004 - snubbed from b/c again
If there's anyone here who has the game, I'd like to know something:
I've been watching some videos and it seems that many times players pull up a J even when they're pretty close to the basket. Is there any control over what kind of shot you can take? I've found and downloaded the game manual but couldn't find anything about it, or maybe I missed it...My Specs:

I have to say old bball games usually get me through my itch from June to Oct as i've usually traded in the game by June, exceptions (for no particular reason) being NBA 2k8 & 2k5 (doesn't quite stand the test of time, lol).Last edited by Tha_Kid; 06-07-2010, 03:39 AM.Comment

Re: NBA Inside Drive 2004 - snubbed from b/c again
I went to that store today. I spent there about an hour talking to the guy behind the counter. He's the classic gamer-geek who works at a video game store.
They're supposed to have the game at their other store, but for some reason couldn't find it. The guy said once they find it they'll call me. And they got a used Xbox which they're selling for $59.99. I saw it in a cardboard box and checked the controller. Still not sure if to buy it from them or from Gamestop for $39.99. This store gives a 90-day warranty, and you can purcahse a 1-year warranty for $9.99. Still not sure what to do...
They do have TONS of used games for all the older systems like N64, NES, DC, Gamecube, PS1, PS2, Xbox etc. Quite a paradise for old-school gamers!Comment

Anyway, I won't quit until I find this game. I managed to find some extremely rare games in the past, so I'm sure that eventually I'll find this one. Just...need...patience...My Specs:

Yeah, well, I usually don't buy stuff online, that's the problem. And Ebay is probably the last place I'd ever buy if decided to buy online. But thanks for the link.
If I lived in the US there might be a bigger chance to find it used somewhere, but here it's mostly hockey and some EA and 2K basketball games but not many.My Specs:

youalss, long time man. I have a soft moded xbox i still play to this day, #1 you should look into soft modding yours #2 I still pop in inside drive 2004 or and play it and it is still awsome its like a 2k game just not made by 2k. Any questions about softmodding your xbox let me know, you can rum emulators and backup import games on it along with unlocking the DVD function.Comment

Nahh, no modding at this point. What's going on, man? Where've you been?
Tomorrow I'm gonna go and buy some used games. Probably Live 2002 (never played it), NBA 2K2, NBA 2K6/7 and some shooters. If you see something you like, you'd better buy it, because someone else can come and get it - and you may never find it again. My Specs:
